King suite very nice . Breakfast very satisfying. Pool great. Staff⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We booked two rooms at this hotel in the middle of July.
To be sure, Vernal, Utah regularly hits the high nineties in the middle of July and it was hot while we were there.
One of our rooms was 68 degrees and was fine.
But, the other room was 76 degrees. We turned down the thermostat hoping the room would cool. It did not. Only anemic slightly cool air emanated from the HVAC system.
I stopped by the front desk and they told me to turn down the thermostat. I advised that I had done so. She looked perplexed and then said she guessed she could call the maintenance technician. I suggested that seemed like a good idea.
By the time the nice fella arrived, it was 10:15 at night. He looked at it and took the cover off. This let a little more air out, but didn't really do anything. He indicated that he could change out the entire unit, but it would take over an hour. We were already tired from a long day of diving and hitting an early morning river trip to Gates of Lodore. So we declined.
The room remained 76 degree all night and we really got no sleep.
I mentioned it at checkout and the desk clerk indicated a manager would give me a call. Nothing. We stopped back by 4 days later to pick up a car we had left in Vernal, so I stopped by again, and left a message for the manager to call me. Nothing. So, I reached out a few days later and left another message.
Eventually, I received an e-mail from Alexandra a manger advising me that my request to have a room cooled to 65 degrees when it was 100 degrees outside was "not realistic for a standard hotel air conditioning unit to achieve."
I think Alexandra might have had a point. If we wanted our room to be a meat locker. But, I hardly wanted our room to be so cold. We were just looking for 70 degrees or even 72 degrees. Hardly an unreasonable ask for an HVAC system in a place that regularly exceeds 100 degrees in the summertime.
My request for a concession or partial refund was rejected.
Other than the temperature issue, the hotel is a little old, the breakfast about what one would expect from this type of hotel (average) and the room itself satisfactory though a little dated.
The thermostat issues was a bummer; but the response by management was quite disappointing and insulting.
I do not recommend this hotel in Vernal.

Considering the price point (quite reasonable), the hotel offered spacious room, decent amenities, and simple breakfast buffet. The staff were courteous and friendly, and helpful in finding dining in the area. We did not have a chance to use it, but they also had a pool, hot tub and small gym. It is also close to many types of eateries.
Room was very clean and breakfast options excellent
Very clean, great breakfast. Gorgeous room. Pool was a little heavy in the chlorine, but still felt good.
Hot tub was closed for some reason, and not marked very well. Some Kids were still getting in it.
Great

Friendly staff. Great breakfast.
The bathroom was very dirty. Water and mold stains. I took photos. Layout of the room, bed directly facing the bathroom, see through, lighted, bathroom doors. Room felt very claustrophobic.
The staff in the hotel were extremely helpful whenever I needed them.
I had a wonderfully large room and a superbly comfortable bed. I had a very good night's stay.
There is plenty of choice of hotels In Vernal and I'm pleased that I chose this one.
I liked that they had a room
I didn't like the breakfast the eggs and other food items taste weird. The door in my room fell off and almost smashed me. Room service never came to my room and switched sheets or even clean up old towels. The stay over all wasn't that good. The hotel is dirty. The hotel should put some money back into fixing the place up.
