The pool setting was not on par and the beach chairs did not have any mattresses…
After the experience at Mondrian Singapore i decided to choose again for my family the Mondrian in Seoul. Wow. Just Wow. Fantastic welcome from John at the Desk who showed us all the great amenities at the hotel and made an effort for let us having a room before 15:00.

This was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I’ve had so far.
We initially stayed at Hotel G7 in Gangnam while attending a conference, and for the second part of our trip we decided to treat ourselves and book what we hoped would be a more exceptional experience based on the outstanding reviews. Unfortunately, the reality was the complete opposite.
The room was extremely small and not particularly comfortable. Breakfast was mediocre and underwhelming for the price, and the location was farther from the interesting parts of Itaewon than expected.
The hotel’s design felt confused and overly curated, as if it was trying to be many things at once without a clear identity. The mix of loud colors and mismatched objects made the space feel chaotic rather than stylish.
Our bedroom had a low ceiling and overlooked a back parking lot, which made the atmosphere feel gloomy.
What surprised us most were the extra charges for things that are often included at this level: minibar snacks, sauna access, and even use of the outdoor pool all came at an additional cost.
Another frustrating issue was the elevators: only three serve the entire hotel, and waits could reach 10 minutes. We even missed a few Uber rides because of it.
I genuinely struggle to understand the excellent ratings on Booking. We chose this hotel because we wanted the second half of our trip to feel special after several days of conference commitments, but it ended up being deeply disappointing.
Before transferring here, we stayed at Hotel G7 in Gangnam. Although it was a business hotel, the service and facilities were excellent, breakfast was varied and delicious, and the location perfect.
I don’t mean to be unfair, but in my opinion this hotel does not deserve the exceptional ratings it currently receives. Perhaps this hotel appeals to people looking for a backdrop for weddings or photoshoots with a futuristic or cyberpunk aesthetic, but as a place to stay and enjoy Seoul, personally would not recommend it.
Stayed in mondrian for a business meeting. The rooms were clean, adequately sized with all the required amenities. Check-in process was smooth, and service staff were friendly. I would like to compliment the staff at mondrian for helping me - I left behind my hair dryer and only realized weeks after the trip was over. Contacted them via email and they were not only responsive, helpful and understanding, but the managed to accommodate my requests to get back my hairdryer. They even hand delivered it to the specified place because of limitations with a third party delivery provider. A big thank you to Blair from the mondrian concierge for your kind help! I greatly appreciate it.
Excellent, classy stay! The headline is the staff who go above and beyond starting from when you get off your taxi. Yuna you were absolutely wonderful - thank you for helping me decide if I needed a tour and for the cookies on a day I was tired. Alex, thank you for being so welcoming and classy at Cleo - which has tasty, vegetarian options. Billy thank you for helping me with planning my day in Seoul. The food is very very superlative at this hotel. The rooms are classy, comfortable and very clean with great amenities. Most of all, I loved the music in the lobby. The staff also handled a small miscommunication well. I will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel.
The staff, so sweat and helpful until the very end. Also you have an arcade with diff food options, a spa. And a rooftop.

The place is beautiful, great location and the staff is very helpful and friendly.
The reason I chose this location for the weekend was the pool only to find out when I arrived that the outdoor pool is not included and it’s an extra charge. The hotel is very pricey to begin with and it was very disappointing to find out that I have to pay extra to go in.
Great stay overall. Comfortable rooms, amazing gym and close to a number of cool neighborhoods. We spent two days in Gangnam and then four here and we enjoyed our stay at Mondrian more.

Good a nice upgrade as a Diamond member and free usage for the spa and outdoor swimming pool. Check-in lady Ria speak good English and explain the benefits well.
I like the clean room, comfortable bed, attentive staff and great gym in this hotel, But the bad soundproof and boring breakfast need to be improve.
Strongly recommend to visit the privilege bar at the rooftop.
Very nice hotel just outside the busy areas, therefore calm but near to entertainment. In particular it’s worth mentioning mr John’s excellent service, combining people skills with great problem solving.
John was so welcoming and gave us such a great check in experience!
