Stylish and comfortable stay in Itaewon
Pros:

I stayed for five nights and overall had a very enjoyable stay. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming, and check in was smooth with everything clearly explained. I had requested a higher floor and was given a room on the 12th floor with a good open view, which I was happy with.

The room was small, but for a five star hotel in Seoul that felt quite normal. It was very cosy, well designed, and had everything I needed. I especially liked the modern layout with the open basin area, while the shower and toilet still offered proper privacy. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept very well. The capsule coffee machine in the room was also a nice touch.

Breakfast was good overall. The coffee was very good, the omelettes were nice, and I appreciated the vegetarian friendly options such as fruit, nuts, yoghurt, and vegetables that were not always mixed with meat. The breakfast staff were also very friendly.

The location worked well for me. There is a bus stop nearby, a small 7 Eleven opposite the hotel, and Itaewon is a great area for going out in the evening with plenty of restaurants nearby. The spa on B1 was also very good, especially the Korean style sauna, and the discount for hotel guests was a plus.

Cons:

The main issue in my room was the shower door seal, which did not go down far enough. Even with the shower door properly closed, water escaped onto the bathroom floor every time I used the rain shower, so I had to improvise with the bath mat and a towel each time. It is not a deal breaker, but it is definitely something the hotel should fix.

I also noticed some noise from above and next door, especially the sound of running water. It was manageable for me with earplugs, but lighter sleepers may notice it more.

At breakfast, I missed a few small things that I would normally expect in a five star hotel, such as chocolate powder for milk and simple balsamic vinegar and olive oil for salads. On one Sunday morning the breakfast area was also very crowded, and the coffee machine area could be a bit slow when busy.

Below 5-star expectations due to inconsistent and unprofessional service.
Pros:

The room was reasonably clean, the mattress was comfortable, and an air purifier was provided.

Cons:

Inconsistent and unprofessional service at check-in. One staff member was helpful, while another was dismissive and confrontational.
I had to repeat a simple request, received no follow-up call after waiting for over 5 hours, and the manager failed to properly address the situation.

Staff training to ensure consistent service is urgently needed.
There was no managerial intervention despite awareness — not acceptable for a 5-star hotel.

Rather than resolving issues with room upgrades, I hope to see genuine improvements in service.

La chambre au départ avait des problèmes et n’était pas du tout confortable. Après discussion avec la direction, une nouvelle chambre nous a été donnée. Tout fut rentré dans l’ordre !

An amazing stay with a great atmosphere and incredibly kind staff, I’ll definitely be back.
Pros:

The atmosphere was amazing from the moment I walked in. The hotel has a beautiful, modern design and the staff were extremely kind and welcoming throughout my stay. Everything felt very comfortable and well taken care of, and the location in Itaewon made it easy to explore the area.

Cons:

Honestly, there wasn’t anything that stood out as negative during my stay. Everything was smooth and enjoyable.

Stylish stay with the most helpful staff.
Pros:

The room was comfortable and good size.
The hotel lobby was beautiful and the staff were all nice and very helpful.

Cons:

The location was not the greatest but it was still easy to find and easy to get a taxi or walk to central Itaewon.
