Pros:

The room is spacious and comes with a terrace. There is a mosquito screen on the balcony door, so we kept it open throughout our stay. In the evenings, we fell asleep to the sound of frogs croaking.

The hotel is located in a beautiful setting, but you should be aware that it is far from the city center, so it is advisable to either rent a car or use taxis. There is a bus stop right next to the hotel, but buses run quite infrequently.
The café in the lobby is very nice, with unique and special pastries. We also loved Market338, where I had the best Naengmyeon of my life.

Cons:

The only negative aspect I would mention is the bed, which was extremely soft for our taste. Another issue, also noted by other guests, was the “paper-thin walls.” We could clearly hear conversations happening in the neighboring room.

Overall very clean and grand hotel. Staff were quite friendly and the hotel is within reasonable distance to local attractions. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the gyeongju area

Pros:

The room size was bigger than i expected and the room facilities were excellent. The hotel is located in a quiet spot near the lake and it also offers a nice place for a stroll in the evenings around the lake. The bookstore cafe is a nice spot to relax in along with the pool and bowling alley.

Location is about a 20-25 minute drive from the main city centre and there are various restaurants located nearby.

Cons:

The breakfast is average there was a good selection but nothing really outstanding. The ceiling can be an issue if you are above 190cm as they are quite low but otherwise nothing to complain about.

המיטות נמוכות ומאוד לא נוחות.
ה wifi מאוד חלש וכמעט אי אפשר היה לגלוש אתו.
תורים ארוכים בחדר האוכל לארוחת בוקר (המתנה של 20-30 דקות).
אין בחדר: ארון בגדים עם מדפים (רק תלייה), אין מראת גוף, אין נייר טישו.
ארוחת ערב בופה של המלון מאוד יקרה.

Good location but don't prepay for breakfasts!
Pros:

location and the quality of food were good. The room size was adequate. The view was nice.

Cons:

On the Booking.com site, the hotel never mentioned that there was a minimum of prepaid breakfast for 2 persons per room we selected. Yet, they charged the same breakfast fee for 2 for the second room even though my daughter stayed alone. The booking clearly states 1 room for 2, the second room for 1 guest. I brought this up multiple times at the hotel and the staff gave different reasons: Mandatory minimum or it was still cheaper than not prepaying. I believe I was overcharged for about $120 total for 4 breakfasts no one ate. It is difficult to book a hotel from overseas and I tried very hard to see if there were any minimum charges and found none. On the last morning, we had to leave the hotel just as the breakfast started. Since we had already prepaid for all the breakfasts, I thought they might give us a room service of simple breakfast or a boxed food. Nope! They made no attempt to make us feel better. Since I couldn't choose to prepay for just 3 out of 4 nights stay, that was even more frustrating.
Also the balcony had no table or chairs for us to enjoy.

Cons:

The breakfast cost! I could not reserve b.b. only the room which cost 187$ for a couple. But they asked 65$ for breakfast for 2 persons! It was too much for a breakfast cpecially comparing to yhe privrs in Korea

Our family’s final days in Korea were made truly unforgettable thanks to the exceptional team at Lahan Select Gyeongju. After a long and tiring day out celebrating, we were met with the friendliest world-class check-in experience we have ever encountered.
The staff, masterfully led by Manager Heo Gyu Seok, were incredibly professional and polite. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was defined by world-class comfort and genuine care.
