Hotel Sole is located in a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL) which can be accessed by car passing from Gate 3 in Piazza Catena. Wonderful town, great hotel, we will visit again.
Pros:

The hotel staff were very friendly. The hotel is very clean, welcoming and is good value for money. It’s’ location is fantastic, being on the waterfront and in the old part of town. We had a room overlooking the lake which was truly amazing, and made our stay extra memorable.

Cons:

One minor thing is that we would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

A nice location but not great value for money and did not live up to 4 star rating!
Pros:

The hotel is in a beautiful location - on the lake and close to restaurants and the main foreshore area. We had a lovely view from our room and a balcony due to an unexpected upgrade. They provided free bicycles which was fun.

Cons:

The hotel does not feel like a 4 star hotel - the room was cold because the heater kept malfunctioning even after we addressed the issue with reception. There were no coffee or tea facilities in the room. There were no toiletries provided other than gel for hands and shower - there was an empty dish on the bathroom counter with a sign suggesting that we contact Reception for toiletries but when we did this, we were told there was nothing else - they didn't even provide a shower cap, personal hand/body lotion or toothbrush kits like other 4 star hotels have done. The staff were not particularly friendly or helpful and we felt like we were an inconvenience to them when asking questions. The breakfast was bland and uninviting - bread and rolls did not feel fresh. We would not particularly recommend this hotel - even though they told us they had upgraded our room, we were underwhelmed by the lack of hotel niceties that most other hotels provide freely especially at a 4 star rating!

Perfekte Lage, freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service
Pros:

Wir haben sehr kurzfristig zu Sylvester gebucht. Hatten noch ein Standardzimmer bekommen. Es war alles in Ordnung. Frühstück vielfältig und sehr gut. Parkplatz gegen Gebühr im Parkhaus. Be- und Entladen des Gepäcks vor dem Hotel möglich. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt. Direkt am See, wenige Schritte in die Altstadt. Wir sind bereits mehrfach Gäste im Hotel gewesen und werden es wieder buchen.
