Great location. Quiet time of the year so it was quiet in town

Cons:

Pool was very small therefore like a warm bath (32c everyday). Outdoor areas were tired and a bit grotty. Minimum kitchen utensils and the hot plates were hit and miss - sometimes worked, sometimes not. Bed was too hard for me and was if poor quality - slight movement and the whole bed moved. However this was bottom end of the market in price so can’t expect too much. Location made up for a lot and it was very quiet. Note the internet was very slow so visitors might want to plan around that if it’s vital to your stay.

Manque de professionnalisme de la part de l'agence de location
Pros:

Appartement spacieux, bien équipé et bien situé dans Port Douglas (proche de la marina pour les activités ́nautiques). Possibilité d'utiliser la lingerie gratuitement et place de parking couverte sous le bâtiment.

Cons:

La note de 6 sur 10 s'explique par le non respect des consignes qui nous avaient été données par l'agence de location concernant le self check-in. La porte était censée être ouverte et quand nous sommes arrivés, nous avons trouvé porte close. Nous avons perdu du temps et de l'argent pour trouver le numéro d'urgence de l'agence et pouvoir leur expliquer la situation (nous étions en dehors des heures de bureau mais l'annonce précisait self check in à toute heure). Au départ, la personne que nous avons eu au bout du fil ne semblait pas nous croire et nous avons dû insister pour obtenir une solution. Nous avons trouvé cela peu professionnel.

L’appartement aurait aussi pu être un peu plus propre mais nous avons été satisfait du logement dans son ensemble.

The apartment was cool and spacious. Great facilities, not as clean as I would have expected but had everything we needed.

Cons:

The check in instructions were not clear. It took 20 mins to reach someone who could help us by phone. There was no one in site
