Location is lovely, warm and cosy and has what you need. While it's an older hotel, it was clean and in good condition.
Perfect for our reason to stay.
Hot water system very temperamental.
Close to the Gordon River Cruise
Didn’t have Microwave in room.
Heating was on whe we arrived, friendly and helpful staff
Bed had seen better days, had a big dip in the middle
Location
Mould on curtains
Rooms are in need of repair and refresh
Staff very unhelpful. Room cleaned only every second day, and even then, not before 4 pm, prevented us being able to relax in it after being out despite disabled partner needing to. Ended up cancelling cleaning because of this.. Staff inflexible in assisting.
Room furnishings were tired, carpet old, decor dark. Bathroom had offensive smell of mould from poor drainage.
View of harbour, nice bed, good bathroom & amenities
Room needed a better vacuum.
Needed more detailed direction of room location, how to find it, best place to park. We weren't the only ones confused.
Rooms were clean. Parking free. Short walk to esplanade
Being off season there was no cafe or restaurant facilities. As our accommodation was high up on the hill we missed reception at the bottom. Found it a bit confusing. Steps from accommodation down to esplanade and up again might be hard for people with walking difficulties.
Comfort of bed, ease of access, location and staff were friendly.
Unclear which room was which picture, abit disappointed with reality. Wifi modem placed above bed with bright led display illuminating room at night. Bathroom window was permanently ajar with grill (No issues here as assumed for help with ventilation.) However this then created issues with noise in car park and strong smell of cigarettes while in bathroom.
The mattress were comfy & pillows were good. The shower pressure was perfect- very relaxing 😌- thank you
It would have been a perfect stay if Restaurant 42 was open. We did have a lovely local meal down at The Regatta Point Tavern
Staff were not on task or customer focussed! Disappointing in a hospitality situation!!!
Very poor customer service!
Location and view were impeccable.
Parking for the spa suites was limited, could hear all footsteps of guests above.

Reasonable facilities and a reasonably quiet room.
We had purposefully booked a room on the shore front, but when we arrived were told that section was 'closed for winter' and we were given an 'upgrade' in the building up on the hill. We did not appreciate the poorer view and walks in the rain.
