view from public lounge area. location was good
that the restaurant and bar were closed, had to go out for all meals, with a place that is heavily booked all the time, why have winter hours for meals, we felt this was very inconsiderate
Position
No bar of an evening or cafe of a morning. Understand no restaurant in low season
Awesome location
Close to Pub
Great view from room or balcony (upstairs)
It was a beautiful property right in the centre of Strahan village. Close to restaurants and boat cruise. The value for money is great and the rooms were spacious and lovely.
One of the rooms was located at the top of the hill so it is a drive from the actual Strahan village, however, nice regardless.
Very cosy, loved the small verandah looking out to the water and town. Bed was very comfortable.
Could hear movement upstairs and shower above was quite loud.
Nice unit with great outlook of harbour.
Parking close was potluck.
Beds were comfy.
It is very worn out and tired now. Restaurant was closed. We have stayed several times in the past. The experience is very much determined by the rooms you get. A bit of a crap shoot. This time was a fail. Wont be back until the place is refurbished.
It was central but I didn’t realise when I booked it was a steep walk back up
Not good for bad knees so ended up driving everywhere
A microwave would have been nice to heat stuff up
My harbour view was obscured mostly by trees
Excellent location. Very large room with wonderful views. Bed was extra big and very comfortable. Great sized balcony.
The on-site restaurant was closed from April until September due to the low season. No notification given at time of booking.
Spacious. Good location.
So disappointed the restaurant wasn't open. It's why I booked.
The location
The air quality in the room was suboptimal, contributing to an elevated temperature that presented both advantages and disadvantages. Sleep was disrupted due to noise transference from adjacent accommodations, indicating insufficient sound insulation in the partitioning walls.
Awesome location
Room was well set out and comfortable and clean
Loved bench for suitcases
Signage to locate room, button for toilet not obvious
Lovely to get an upgrade to a room with a great view from up high. Comfortable bedding, great to have a laundry to use (at cost but cheap). Great heating and good water pressure. Easy walk via a track to the harbour.
Not a thing
The view from the room was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. The fire place was an added bonus.
Gina, at reception, was so welcoming. We were upgraded to a Harbour view room, which was very comfortable, clean and yes a beautiful view. Location was great within easy walking distance of everything.
Nothing
The beds were nice and comfy and a spatial room. Really close to the main shops.
The carparks were very narrow for bigger vehicles and quite limited. The walls seemed really thin as you could hear people talking and closing doors very easily.
A shame that the kitchen wasn’t operating.
