Nothing! Our room was in the Lyall Wing, very disappointed. The acomodation was not as advertised, distinct smell of bleach on arrival. Tiles on bathroom floor in poor condition. Very few of the usual expected amenities, no bowls or breakfast spoons, no toaster, no microwave, no teatowel. Mattress on bed uncomfortable, so unable to sleep well. Poor heating. Will not return, avoid!!!
As above. Uncomfortable mattress, poor heating, strong smell of bleach from bathroom on arrival, bathroom floor tiles in poor condition. Very few of the usual expcted amenities, no toaster or microwave, very small fridge, no bowls or breskfast spoons, no tea towel. Very disappointed, would not stay there again, avoid!!!
Would give it a rating of 5.5.
We could walk out to the front area and have views of the water .
Old interior outdated bathroom the carpet in the hallway smelt musty. Outlook into the carpark cars parked right outside the only window so had to keep dark curtain’s drawn for privacy. Reminded me of accommodation offered in school camping trips but much more expensive.
The location convenient and cute village
Only a queen sized bed. There is enough room for a king.
Location... room clean ans tidy... bed comfortable and airconditioner great. Coffee instant ...
Surprised our room wasn't cleaned during our 2 night stay ... would love a toaster or microwave in the room..
Very well maintained, great staff and excellent location and views
Strahan Village is in a great location and also had a lovely restaurant/bar with a beautiful view. A nice spot for afternoon drinks. Staff were courteous.
The rooms we were allocated were disappointing to say the least. Upon entering there was a putrid smell mixed with an overpowering smell of bleach. We opened the small window which looked out to the car park, to get some fresh air, and noticed a number of dead flies on the windowsill. The fly screens were also filthy and looked like no one had cleaned the windows or window sills in a long time. The mini fridge was full of water and we had to clean it out before putting our food and drinks in it. There was no air conditioning or ceiling fans in the rooms, so it was hot and stuffy all night. The shower tiles were old and some were black due to missing grout. It was an over the bath shower and there were cockroaches in the closet. These rooms are in dire need of an upgrade and were very bad value for the amount we paid per night. It felt like we were staying in a prison cell. Very disappointing.
Loved the village feel. Apartment was close to food precinct and to the pier to take the Gordon River Cruise.
Car parking was in a separate location to apartment so not easy to unload cases.

The room was spacious. Location is excellent. Walked to all attractions.
The room was beautifully located looking over the fishing port. The manager made us feel very welcomed and phoned us before we arrived asking us if there was anything we needed and informed us of the local restaurants available.
Nothing
So convenient, in town for the river cruise and show, easy walk to both.
