Hampton Inn & Suites Sarasota / Bradenton - Airport

Room was very nice and very clean. They were very accommodating. I love that I was able to bring my dogs.

The staff are super helpful, the hotel is clean and in a great location and easily walkable to loads of restaurants and bars. We stay here often!

We enjoyed the breakfast.

When we got there I told the front desk I asked where to get coffee, she said in our room, so I asked how do I get replacement for the morning and she said to come back down and get more, the nice thing to do would to give me the coffee then instead of making me come back, simple customer service. The TV didn't work in our room, The technician was nice but we had to change rooms. We had two beds, and moved to a king and pull out bed and was assured the pull out was made by the hotel and very comfortable, NOT AT ALL it was horrible and had springs in it. The breakfast was okay.

Autumn is amazing! She is the reason I come to that location. I wish I could have her at every place I stay at. She make you feel amazing even though you are having a bad day!

Just another fine place to stay by Hilton. Once you factor in the breakfast for 5 this is one of the best places to stay in Sarasota/Bradenton.

It’s was so nice and so good with us

First: the good: the room was clean, the hotel was safe, the breakfast was decent, the fitness center was great.

The bad: do not expect a shuttle from the airport, even though Hilton says it is available. I tried to call/message them 3 separate times before giving up and calling a Lyft.

We had to change rooms, due to my own brain fart at booking the wrong checkout date. Having to pack and haul all of our stuff downstairs to be held, only to move back up and down the hall, was kind of annoying. You would think they would have let us keep the same room?

Staying here without a car was tricky. It’s not in a very walkable area, and the bus only takes cash and there’s no place at the hotel to get cash (there’s an ATM but it was broken). I spent far more than I expected on Lyfts to get around.

There were a zillion not working outlets in both of our rooms, and there was no toilet paper dispenser in one of them and no bathroom hook in another.

The pool is right next to the smoking terrace, so every time I went in it I inhaled a ton of secondhand smoke.

It was also very noisy - the planes were quiet but there was a woman outside who was SCREAMING at her child in the hallway every morning beginning at 5:55am. I almost called CPS on them, I’m surprised the hotel did not intervene.

Overall, this is a decent stay for a quick crash from the airport but not one Id recommend for a long-term option.

We chose this Hampton due to an early morning flight out of Sarasota. The hotel like all Hamptons was clean with modern amenities. We relaxed by the pool in the afternoon and the pool and area were clean. Unfortunately due to our early shuttle to the airport we did miss the breakfast but took advantage of the bad breakfast provided. Most impressive was the helpful staff especially the gentleman behind the desk on the morning of April 1st.
When asked if the airport shuttle was running he just smiled and shook his head yes and then slipped on a light jacket and helped me outside with our luggage and proceeded to drive us to the airport - what a guy!!! A true ambassador for the hotel!!

Great stay!!!! Josh was a true jewel to my family from start to finish! Professional, and a true example of the type of personnel hotels need in place!! Everything wasn't perfect but everything worked out perfectly! I would definitely stay at this location again. The building and our suites were clean and the housekeeping staff was fantastic, I highly recommend this hotel.

I am a Diamond Honors member and have stayed at this location several times over the past four years when in the area.
This stay was very disappointing.
The front desk clerk who checked me in (3/10 4-5pm) was extremely rude, not only to me but to the five others checking in before me.
Property is run down and is much need of a refresh. Breakfast offerings were non existent.
When coming through lobby to elevator on 3/11 about 10pm, a profuse odor was in the lobby, down the halls into where the elevator. You could clearly hear and smell the hot burning oil squirting in the elevator shaft, likely a hydrolic system issue. When we went to tell the man at the front desk, he said "Life's Not Fair". Seriously? Really?

Super friendly staff. Convenient location. The shuttle to the airport made things super easy coming in and leaving.

Conveniently located close to the Sarasota airport. Has a nice complimentary breakfast with healthy choices.

Nothing like the super polished photos you’ll see in the online presentation. Run down, unclean, room was far from appealing. Slept in our clothes, was grossed out to point of not to dare want skin to touch bed. Guy at desk down stairs didn’t even look up to acknowledge us. I said hello and no response. I chalked it up to a hire that hates his job. Want stay again. In fact, have a booking there for tonight that I’ve been refused a refund, because I booked it through Expedia and Super.com. I wanted to cancel after the stay last week where we were so grossed out that we wanted to cancel tonight’s booking. Buyer beware booking through these “discount” offers. Place for some reason has higher ratings… don’t believe it!
