We had an amazing stay at Cottesmore. The staff went above and beyond we would definitely be back.

A wedding was taking place so very loud to the early hours .. to be expected however … was not made aware when booked ?
Although the room was ok the bed was uncomfortable and low quality pillows .. they could be upgraded .. the room rate didn’t really meet expectation .. for a deluxe room complimentary water would be a nice touch !!

Fantastic overnight stay with health spa facilities used too. We a frequent travelers from Gatwick and will definitely come back here

Slight disappointment when we arrived after a 4 hour drive, receptionist not friendly or welcoming! Room was ok but lots of cobwebs and still had glitter on the floor from previous stay. Room was near the linen cupboard so lots of banging around early in the morning! Grounds are beautiful. Fab breakfast. With a warmer welcome and higher standards of cleanliness could be a fantastic place to stay

The room and facilities were really clean and in great condition. However there was a party at the hotel the evening we stayed and it was incredibly loud into the early hours. It was not so much the music but the constant voices of the guests that kept us awake. The function room is very close to all of the bedrooms. Had we have been notified of the party we would have stayed somewhere else. My advice would be to double check whether there is an event on before booking.

Such a beautiful hotel! The whole stay was great. Such stunning views and lovely surroundings. Really friendly helpful staff. They were so accommodating and kind with our autistic son. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

The stay was good, spoiled only by the noise from the upstairs room starting at 5am. It seems like there is very little sound insulation between floors. I would recommend getting an upstairs room.

This is not a hotel in the normal sense, it is a golf club and wedding venue first, with rooms they let out.

The setting is really nice and the pool facilities were excellent (including the super friendly staff).

Reception shuts early so when you realise they have only given you 1 toilet roll, there is no one to contact. The lady who checked us in was lovely and even let us check in and use the facilities early. The other lady insisted we couldn't go directly to our room after we collected our cases due to a wedding despite none of the wedding party being on the stairs/on that route.

There was no indication that it was not accessible. I have a bad foot and struggled with the steps (there was a lift to the floor with the rooms but then some large steps to the room from there. You have to go outdoors to get to the room, and from the room to the bar and restaurant.

The room was lovely and spacious and a big bed. The bathroom wasn't what I call clean but the rest of the room was.

Beautiful hotel. Staff are all really lovely, very clean throughout hotel. Food was delicious. Spa is the nicest I have visited at any hotel in the UK. Good value for money.. Many thanks to the team at the hotel for making our stay thoroughly enjoyable..
