St mellion was bliss..the staff and the resort was amazing and to a great standard.exceeded my expectations.Everything was on point the rooms were amazing had the best night sleep. The facilities were brilliant and the food was out of this world. Not to forget the famous cream tea was fresh and every bite was magic.Grest selection of the breakfast buffet and they even make eggs to how you prefer. An amazing stay and can't wait to visit again.
Thank you St Mellion
I didn't like that I didnt stay longer !
Great cottage, own parking space, gym and pool facilities open prior to check in.
Nothing
Great swimming pool. Comfortable room with balcony.
When we arrived the guy in reception said oh booking.com as if we were 2nd class. For a 4 star hotel and a long walk to the room no help for offered with luggage, no dedicated park for hotel guests on occasions it was full with day golfers.
The location was private but not to far from the local shops
The apartment was lovely
Good size and very well presented
Nothing
found online
it was all good
Great location and grounds well maintained.Restaurant food was excellent at reasonable price.Although dated our room was a good size and very clean. Bar food was also very good.
One of our party was disabled and there was no offer to assist with luggage. When we asked for a trolley we were told that it wasn’t available as the wheels weren’t working.
Tables outside the main bar were covered with spots of dried on bird mess and when food arrived plates were just put down with no offer to clean first.
We were celebrating a birthday with family and were surprised that the bars and restaurants closed at 10pm and we had to take our last drinks and sit in the reception area. Not what would expect in a ‘4* International Resort’!
At breakfast tables were not serviced so we ended up with them covered in plates while 2 staff members stood talking by the door. Again, hardly 4*.
Did not find the staff that friendly and there seemed to be a lack of urgency everywhere and very few smiling faces about.
The facilities are great and the service was perfect.
We really enjoyed the swimming pool. It was also great that we could have drinks or food there, as there is a bar and restaurant on site.
The cottage was generally quite cold, especially in the kitchen and living room area due to the large space. The radiators provided were not sufficient to keep it warm, even when left on full all day. When we first arrived, it was freezing as the heating was off. When we arrived we turned it on and it took about a full day before the temperature became comfortable.
View from the bedroom onto the golf course and surrounding countryside.
Poor quality basic bedrooms, multiple repairs to old bathroom and dated furniture. Whole of hotel interior needs replacing especially at the prices they are charging . Miserable and unhelpful staff. Goodness knows how they can call it a 4 star hotel!
The leisure facilities were brilliant. Will definitely be coming back to enjoy a drink on the balcony next time.
There was nothing we didn't like
Room was good size, good spa and pool facilities, tasty breakfast with plenty choice
Decor was a bit dated but didn’t impact the overall
Experience
Choice of food in the restaurant
The spa facilities, the room, the staff.
Everything and everyone was perfect
