Please note that all bookings receive 1 starter pack on arrival containing tea/coffee, bath towels, bath mat, soap, tea towel, cleaning cloth, dish-washing liquid and powder. The following amenities are not included but are available at reception for an additional charge: hand towel, face washer, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, laundry powder, scourer and tissues.

Stay was as expected and the staff were absolutely fabulous.
Pros:

The washer and dryer. The team upgraded us without asking as it was our golden wedding anniversary, wine and chocolates were gifted too, so kind. Wonderful staff here!

Cons:

Nothing, we loved it. Only one teensy weensy concern, not really worth mentioning, the shower floor was a little slippery. As we are older it’s always a worry that we’ll take a tumble. Why not leave a rubber/plastic bath mat in the shower to use if needed. As I say, hardly worth mentioning… great stay

Nice for a short stay. All the conveniences right there.
Pros:

I booked an apartment for myself . I wanted the use of pool and spa sauna, and being able to do some washing and cooking. It was a super handy apartment.
The apartment was in a different building to the oaks reception . I guess its sort of run by oaks.
The view was nice from the apartment with the sky view.

The bed was super comfortable. The heater/aircon was nice in the winter .

Staff were helpful. And reception manned 24/7.
Sauna was lovely.

Super close to lots of good restaurants and bars. Nice to walk around and check out adelide on foot.
Free street parking at night during certain hours.

Cons:

The pillows couldve been a bit firmer.

I asked about the door locks (someone else here had a concern too). I stay in hotels a lot for work so I was surprised when the receptionist said it was a fire hazard having a secondary lock.
It only had the key lock and no way to lock from the inside. And what looked like a securing lock lever..was loose and no longer operational. So im not sure.
Wouldve been nice to have a chain lock or something additional.
Especially as my next thing was it felt a bit dodgy at night there with people shouting and it felt like a shared complex for people that need housing assistance..

It was a good room just am very disappointed that I wasted money.
Cons:

My friend was a guest written on the number of people staying. We booked this room for his birthday, I paid almost $400 and he wasn't even allowed to access the building because the security said he needed to have ID, when I wasn't even told about this at reception only to write the names who were staying.

The room size, the balcony, the views, location, safe secure parking, amenities a plenty.

Cons:

A bit grubby around the entrance to the access , but thats not necessarily the fault if the motel r fee

Terrible Staff Service
Pros:

Rooms were nice and good location

Cons:

Staff were terrible. Tried to pay for rooms for work colleagues over the phone and they would only take a credit card in person. Made it very difficult to navigate. Unprofessional. No communication between different check-in days so had to go through the whole process several times. Would not stay here again.

Loved everything expect the incident last night with the fire brigade incident where i had to go down 14 flight of stairs when medically I’m not meant to just be told to go back up, i broke both my feet and since then i can’t walk very well.

Room was great. Clean & comfortable and was what I needed for my short work stay.

Our stay was all up really good except bad sleep due to beds being uncomfortable

The pool is amazing, staff super friendly, great location within walking distance of city center. Apartment spacious enough.
