Ethan at front desk was excellent but Not empowered. Bed was comfortable and we liked having a shared kitchen
Cold water showers. No place to hang wet towels.
The campus boutique hotel is in an excellent location. Although the rooms are small, they are very functional and cozy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The old time pictures and historical vibe were special. Our room included breakfast at Natalia‘s just down the block. Natalia’s food was amazing.
Great location, friendly staff, clean room, cute and historic!
With old buildings come some old building problems… nothing that would stop us from coming back. The AC is just a wall unit and it was definitely fighting for its life. Would turn on and off in the night and was pretty loud so it would keep waking us up. Again, very minor issue.
Great location for a night getaway. Park your car and walk around to shops, restaurants and tastings rooms
It is an older room, so noises can be a little louder
I loved the staff. Especially Zoe, she did an incredible job with our questions and she exceeded expectations! Thank you so much Zoe for making the trip wonderful. Also not sure of the housekeepers name but our interactions with her were also lovely and she exceeded expectations as well! 10\10! Location was central and I loved the extra blanket in the room.
I found it super weird that none of the bathrooms hand anything to dry your hands with. No paper towels, hand towels, disposable wipes, NOTHING. I found this odd and for what we paid why not provide something to dry your hands? As a healthcare worker it also makes me wonder about spread of germs throughout the entire hotel.. hand rails, door handles, kitchen, chairs etc.. My 80 year old mother stated she used the toilet paper to dry her hands which made her feel weird knowing that when the toilet flushed it got germs on it. Her hands were already "dirty" even after that touching our door handle. We both rewashed our hands in our room, but felt we carried germs into the room. It was just weird and a super unsanitary practice.
There were showers available which was lovely but no towels provided in the room for a shower which I realize may save money for the hotel in many ways but if a person did not realize they needed to ask for a towel before the front desk closed just annoying. Our room keys stopped working several times throughout our stay and we had to go down and get new ones. Also, not nice to have do once the front desk was closed and a our key cards did not work. These key cards were not kept with phones or other devices to suck the power from them. Had we not had a third party with us we would have unable to even get into the building.
Historic hotel that had clean, comfortable rooms with fully operational amenities.
Pet fee.. charging for a pet, as if they were another human being in the room. I understand the cleaning deposit and agree, if an owner can't control their animals, they should pay for the clean-up but just to charge for the presence of a pet is not right!
Super cute sweet location
The restroom when we arrived smelled like someone just used it
Very clean, good location. Comfortable beds. Super breakfast at Natalia's cafe.
Rooms are small as it is a historic hotel
Centrally located in historic downtown Camas.
Drank out of the same water/coffee cups for 4 days. Helpful but inexperienced staff. Hot/cold water issues in bathroom. It took up to 10 minutes to get the hot water to the room.
Location, historic hotel
No garbage can in the room. The dispensers in the shower for shampoo, conditioner and body wash were bone dry. Front desk staff was very slow to get to me while I was waiting.
Love the look comfort and cleanliness
I didn’t realize anywhere prior to booking and doing my phone call with the property that there was no elevator. I’m glad I found out before coming down to prepare for it.
Parking is ambiguous. But thank goodness upon arrival they have a guide for you. But no parking lot may prevent future longer stays for me. Great for the weekend though.
It was very quaint and cozy. I liked that there were notes about the history of the hotel around. The hotel was beautifully decorated.
It's a bit cramped in the room I stayed in and creaky at night. You can hear everyone, making it hard to sleep as I am a light sleeper.
