Lots to like (but lacking TLC)
Pros:

Good central location, helpful staff, comfortable bed. Cleanish room (see below). Bar is lovely for a drink looking out to the ocean.

Cons:

Hallways with worn carpet, and poorly maintained walls/paintwork. Worst of all though the carpet in our room was very stained and in real need of replacing. Our ‘sea view’ room unfortunately also included a view of parked cars day and night. (I recognise that this is not the hotel’s responsibility - however they don’t mention this in relation to offering rooms with a sea view!)

Schönes großzügiges Apartment mit kompletter Ausstattung, Balkon mit Meerblick und herrlichen Sonnenaufgang.
Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter.

Cons:

Paid for executive room, and it was far from that. $340 for one night.
The bed sheets were stained, curtains were dirty, broken glass on balcony from a glass fence panel, shower head was so blocked that it only had a few trickles of water coming out.
Two female Staff members in the restaurant at dinner were very rude and were more interested in arguing with each other.
Definitely won't be staying there again.

Relaxing holiday in KI
Pros:

We booked a seaview room with a balcony. It was beautiful!

We had three dinners at the restaurant. Overall meals were beautiful except the Asian meals on the menu. I dont recommend the chicken satay curry (no satay flavour, it was really a chichen curry, asxsuch tgwcname shoud be changed to just chicken curry) and the Poke rice: cold and clumpy rice was hard to eat/swallow and the additional Moroccan chicken was very dry. All the other dushes were fine.

Cons:

No elevator to the second floor. However, the staff members helped us to carry a big suitcase up snd down for us.

Perfect gateway to Kangaroo Island
Pros:

The lobby / lounge area is great, with comfortable soft chairs and beautiful ocean views, a perfect place to relax at any time of day. There is a well-stocked supermarket only a block away, and the excursion buses and airport shuttles stop right across the street. Super location with immediate access to the coastal walking path. Breakfast was excellent. Entire staff was welcoming and very helpful.
