Location
Closing time a bit early
On arrival in the room we were told of the welcome gift of a bottle of wine, chocolates and free water which was unexpected and much appreciated. The room was comfortable but I expected there to be a microwave, as there was a kitchenette listed. I enquired at the office and was advised that they were available on request. So we were able to have one delivered to the room which was good.
We chose the breakfast included option and enjoyed a full and delicicous meal. I especially loved the fresh fruit.
One evening we dined in at the restaurant and enjoyed our meal.
The staff in all areas were very welcoming and helpful.
The bathroom was a little smaller than I expected.
The rooms were comfortable and clean. The internet for the TV was strong.
Upon check in, the lady that served us wasn't really interested. She spoke way to fast and didnt provide any further information about the facilties or when/where to have our included breakfast.
The restaurant was ok, the server made us feel not welcome as we sat at a table (after reception had approved for us not to make a booking) and asked us to move as that table was booked (no sign) when we move from a 6 seater table, they sat a couple there instead?
No bar snacks provided at happy hour
Location and rooms were pleasant
Newly updated. Clean. Excellent location. Nice restaurant. Loved the complimentary snacks and wine.
Breakfast was light on, poor selection but I think it was because the hotel was quiet and there weren’t many people there to need the food.
Our room was , as requested, clean, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water . Lovely welcoming gifts and generous toiletries. Simple but adequate breakfast in a lovely dining area.
Quiet location . Plenty of parking for larger vehicles and vans etc if needed.
Excellent place to stay! Close to our venue that night. Comfortable, clean and everything we needed for a wonderful night stay in Barossa.
Nothing at all
The hotel is in a handy location, though it would have be been nice to be in walking distance from the main part of town. The room was clean and spacious.
Service was poor e.g. we had to go to the reception and ask three times for fresh towels and extra tea bags when such things should come automatically.
The apartment room was really nice but we got that because our first room had a bad smell in it
There was one staff member who was really unhelpful and useless who didn’t really care that we had a problem with our room. The day shift concierge was great and housekeeping were helpful
The room was clean
The staff were unhelpful and rude. The breakfast was cold and very sparce.
Convenient and comfortable
The floor was rising and a trip hazard
Comfortable accommodation let down by Restaurant problems. The online hotel information suggested the wifi password was in your key card folder - it wasn't so one had to walk to reception to find out. The restaurant was closed on a bank holiday and then the hot breakfast food was most certainly not hot, due to alterations I was told.
Good quiet location; recently refurbished and very comfortable beds
Our first stay here and very good value. Updated bathroom and nicely appointed living/sleeping area. Complimentary refreshments and Netflix/Stan were a bonus. Very comfortable bed. We'll definitely make this our go to for future Barossa trips.
