Overall it was a wonderful stay. Would stay here again.
Pros:

Location was convenient, restaurant food was delicious and staff were friendly and helpful

Cons:

Bathrooms are a bit rough around the edges. The pillows were terrible.

Having the Restaurant/bar was convenient.Room 4 was clean nice and cool and dark good for sleeping.
The underground room was a good experience.

Cons:

We got hassled by some locals in the restaurant bar area which put a little bit of a downer on the experience.

Pros:

It was in the heart of town, and had some nice underground features. Could walk to most of Coober Pedy from there. Museum was worth seeing.

Cons:

Food was a bit uninspiring, above ground rooms were basic but adequate. No complaints.

Great location, great coffee
Pros:

The swimming pool was a great addition, the location was amazing and the free coffee in the morning was very appreciated. I also enjoyed the size of the room.

Cons:

The dust in the room, biscuit crumbs behind the TV from a previous guest and sticky mugs that I re-washed before using. I also hated the pokies being right there, took away from the family feel.
