The location in the pound was nice

Cons:

Very limited wifi and half the park was closed for pest culling with no notice to us. The restaurant was also closed for lunch so no real lunch options available between 10am and 5.30pm

Traumhafter Ort am Rand der Wildnis
Pros:

Traumhafte Lage, die Safarizelte haben eine kleine Terrasse, von denen man die Tiere beobachten kann. Sie sind sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Personal ist nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Wanderwege sind gut gepflegt und herrlich schön. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr gut.

Cons:

Nichts war irgendwie schlecht. Dass es bei 46C im Zelt heiss wird, wenn der Strom ausfällt, ist wirklich nicht die Schuld des Ressorts.

Also a small but comprehensive grocery store nearby.

Our stay at Discovery Resorts – Wilpena Pound was absolutely amazing and truly unforgettable. The location is simply breathtaking, surrounded by the stunning Flinders Ranges and right at the doorstep of Wilpena Pound itself. Waking up to the views and the peaceful outback atmosphere was something very special.

The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The beds were comfortable, and the facilities were thoughtfully set up to suit both short and longer stays. The resort grounds are beautiful, well organised, and blend perfectly with the natural surroundings.

The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful, always happy to provide information about walking trails, activities, and local sights. The on-site facilities, including the restaurant and amenities, made the stay even more enjoyable after long days of exploring.

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to experience the true beauty of the Australian outback, with comfort and convenience in an unbeatable location. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Flinders Ranges. We would definitely stay again.

Absolutely fantastic and one more item off my list of "must visit" locations.
Pros:

Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Closeness to all major walks and drives into the gorges.

Cons:

Interconnecting room doors are not soundproof and could hear conversations from the adjoining room.

Overpriced and outdated
Pros:

Location is great. Other fellow guests have been great.

Cons:

Room was very small, no privacy hence the block out blinds needed to be shut all the time. Only one bedsite table light.
Breakfast was a disgrace. Very grubby, no cutlery, no serving cutlery, no clean dishes, tables dirty. Staff was not in the mood to make a great experience.
No value for money. Seems to be very outdated.
