Accomodation good but meals even when they did arrive after an hour after ordering were very average

Facilities and location was good

Cons:

When our group booked we were told no need to book dinner. A week prior one of our group called asking about meals, they said a function was on so the best they could offer was an early booking. We were also a large group. The function was extremely loud and then they asked our group to leave prior to serving desserts to our table. While I was at the bar two other couples were told they were not serving meals. They mentioned that they should have been told, they were not happy.

Pros:

The room Was good

Cons:

Had a private function on and our group was squashed in with that group of 100 people
Our meal was cold and orders were wrong
It was so loud in the room from the private group we could not here each other talk
We had organised this get together months ago we would of been better sitting in the bar having a meal was a big let down
The next morning the shower was stone cold, unbearable
Have stayed here before and has been enjoyable
None of our group were happy this time

Nice for the area
Pros:

Next to beach. Nice room type and refurbished. Nice staff.

Cons:

Big massive pine tree blocking our supposed sea view. Showers didn’t have proper drainage and flooded the bathroom. Showers had small sprinklers could not clean properly. Small bathroom. Bed was nice and big but wasn’t comfortable. Didn’t feel safe to leave valuables inside room, because can be easily broken into by the balcony.

Met our requirements
Pros:

We stayed at Scamander Beach Resort as we were struggling to find accommodation on the coast that day so it was a last minute Booking.com booking. Reception closes early and they leave your key in a safe box. The room was lovely and we had a nice view over the ocean.

Cons:

We felt the staff could have been more friendly as we felt like we were being an inconvenience just by being there. They were not rude, just distracted and not customer focused. We arrived around 5.50pm and left at around 9am the next day and had not special requests or requirements. The restaurant was not open for breakfast.
