RECEPTION HOURS : at Boathaven Bay Holiday Apartments are open from 9am until 5pm, check in from 2pm until 5pm, after hour check in until 9pm is available, please contact the hotel prior to arrange, check in later than 9pm is not possible. Please note credit surcharge of 1.5% applies to Visa and MasterCard, 3% applies to American Express. A $200 credit card pre auth is required at check in as security against damage / unpaid accounts. We are a cashless business.

Boathaven Spa Resort is unable to accommodate bookings for school leavers (‘schoolies’) unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Guests are required to present a valid credit card and valid photo ID upon check in (at least 1 guest must be 18 years of age or older). The hotel’s Terms Of Stay must be signed – no exceptions will be made. If guests do not comply with these conditions, the booking will be canceled and no refund given.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.

There are better, cleaner and more modern options for this price in Airlie Bay
Pros:

We wouldn’t book here: location, cleanliness and reception… The location is a firm walk from the ferry terminal, and located on a hill along a very busy road. When you finally arrive, a steep climb awaits you, as it does every time you head back. The place is at quite a distance of town centre, walking along that busy road which is not lit at night. Darknesses from 19.00 hrs for the moment. The place is in need of renovation, a specially the bathroom where there’s mould on the lower metal parts. In theory all the amenities are there, if you’re happy with their condition, fi. the rusty and dirty toaster. No wit standing, you get a sheet with all do’s and don’t, and the hotel charges your credit card with a steep 200 $ guarantee. Swimming pool in front of the hotel looks enormous on photos but is quite tiny. Not the best option nor value in Airlie beach.

Very dated and feels like the apartment needs a good deep clean. That being said, it was much cheaper than other apartments in the area so you get what you pay for :)
