Stay at the Denman for a great family ski trip in the heart of Thredbo
Pros:

Great location in the heart of Thredbo. Lovely staff. Super clean and warm rooms. Great breakfast that set us up for a day of skiing. We enjoyed a really lovely dinner at the restaurant and we had a great night listening to live music and dancing in the bar. It's an older property & we had the smallest room but its exactly what we expected and were happy with everything.

Cons:

At some point the Denman deserves a little face lift but as long as it retains it's very cool family fun vibe.

The hotel has a lovely aspect and the location s deal making it the "Perfect weekend stay! The room was impeccably clean and featured modern, comfortable decor. Staff were incredibly welcoming and happy to assist with all my queries. The breakfast and dinner is absolutely delicious with a variety of options for all tastes and ages. Highly recommended

A great place to with right at heart of Thredbo
Pros:

The location is convenient and helpful to explore Thredbo, and also many other trails to walk, comfy beds, and sufficient amenities in the hotel make it a good stay. The staff is helpful and gives you directions for parking, since they don't have an in-house parking space and local locations

Cons:

The parking in the place can get a bit tricky if you don't know the place well, also their Breakfast menu is limited, or the staff did not explain us clearly.

Enjoyable autumn, active vacation, not for the lazy.
Pros:

The location is lovely and the view from our room on the balcony was fantastic.
The hotel is old and the rooms are small, but very clean and comfortable
The breakfast was a surprise and very enjoyable
The shower was hot and the room supplied all the necessities, including bath robes.
We brought our bikes, and rode up to mount Kosciusko. What a view!

Cons:

There is no onsite parking, so you had to walk a long way to the main parking areas, but luckily it was for free.
We were in the top room and there were 60 stairs to get there.
The staff were not helpful with activities to do, they didn’t suggest anything for us, and when asked were unsure.
There was very little open in the town when we were there, and once in Thredbo, everything is very expensive.

Friendly owners and good value for money
Pros:

Very friendly owners. The rooms are functional but saying that it’s comfortable and excellent value for money. There is a very nice bar and a good restaurant which is very popular so you need to book.

Cons:

There is no parking at the hotel and you have to park in the main car parks which are about a 10/15 min walk away
