Exactly as advertised and reviewed
Pros:

The check in lady was so nice. I think her name was Rena?. Very close to the airport which is what we needed. Restaurants walking distance. You can tell they take meticulous care of the property.

Cons:

An odor in one of the rooms.

Luv the Display and collection of Hawiian Culture artifacts! The owner was very informative. The room was very comfortable and provided everything that one might need. Very Vintage. Luv it! Natural foliage everywhere!

Cons:

Air cond. On low made a noise. Well, Roosters are great, yet wake you up early!! Lol...

Close to the airport like we needed. Rating was based on the fact that place was a cheap option.

Cons:

Glass shutters for windows provided no sound barrier. The 2 nights we were there, we heard all conversations of people outside, even guests on their phones at 5am, all noises and people in their rooms. There was lots of baging from upstairs and various points throughout the evening and early mornings. If we were staying longer, I would have moved hotels as our sleep suffered.
It was not ideal that we could not leave our luggage their early because we had a full day tour planned and had to leave it in the rental car. All other hotels have either put it in a luggage room or into our hotel room once it was ready.
Did not have tea/coffee facilities but I should have checked that before booking.

Pros:

The cottage was a great size, clean, had ac, and a small yard. It was a nice stay. Also there are little restaurants and stores near by so super cute

A homey stay in a centrally located hotel.
Pros:

No breakfast here, but Kauai Coffee was brewed for all every morning. It's the best!!
I'm not a resort person so I appreciated the ambience of the hotel. It is old! Also liked the location. Plenty of restaurants nearby, also the Kauai Museum which is awesome, and we were halfway from either end of the roads.
Only 5 to 10 minutes from the beach.

Cons:

It seemed a bit expensive for such an old hotel.

Es war sauber.
Das Licht war schön hell.
Auf der Veranda vor dem Zimmer konnten wir an einem kleinen Tisch frühstücken. Kaffee gab es in der Lobby. Diese war wie ein kleines Museum hergerichtet.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war sehr klein.Mit 2 großen Koffern war das Raummanagement kompliziert.
Mit einem Weltstecker mussten wir die Steckdose in Bodennähe benutzen.

It is a very run down property.
The electrical outlets on the floor boards. No electrical outlets in the bathroom. The place needs remodeling. Definitely not worth the price. The towels were very worn out.

Es gab eine Steckdose im Badezimmer auf Spiegelhöhe, nicht sehr ideal um sein Handy oder sonstiges zu laden.

Für den Preis definitiv mehr erwartet
Pros:

Die Lage ist sehr zentral in Flughafennähe, trotzdem ruhig. Morgens gab es Kaffee und gekühltes Zitronenwasser. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

„Hotel“ klingt nach mehr, es hat eher den Charme eines Motels.
Das Zimmer war doch sehr beengt. Alles sehr hellhörig. Bei Regen kann man auch unter der Überdachung nicht mehr draußen sitzen, weil es überall durchtropft. Eine Sitzmöglichkeit im Zimmer gab es aber nicht.
Es ist zu empfehlen bei längerem Aufenthalt unbedingt ein größeres Zimmer/Apartment buchen!
