The breakfast was okay.
The manager was rude there was an issue with the pool and the way she talked to me was unacceptable there was an issue with the pool when I went to the manager about it her response was oh well things happen
Bathroom was cleaned and had everything in a noticeable spot. Glad we was able to use a microwave and a fridge. Also, the king sized bed felt relaxing
Honestly, the only thing I didn't like was the pillows for the bed. They felt too small but also too poofy, which made it really hard for me to sleep
Clean
The lady in the morning at the front desk were as helpful as can be. The cleaning staff in the morning was amazing as well. They both were extremely helpful.
I understand the hotel was full because of the weather but this place needs a remodel bad. The elevator is the size of a small box. There wasn't any towels most of the weekend. The breakfast syrup was old and made my kids stomach hurt. They also had a staff member sitting in the dining room watching while you eat. That was uncomfortable. The evening and night staff was rude. The heat didn't work in the original room assigned. Then the new room the shower would just cut off randomly. For almost 400 dollars for a weekend I expected simple amenities to work.
It was affordable and the room was nice
The heat in the initial room we were given was not working
The beds were clean and soft and the linens were very soft. The bathrooms were clean and spacious.
Two steps out of the elevator, I stepped into a hole in the floor. The hole was about 2 feet long and covered by terrible carpet and a terrible patch of carpet next to it, so this is not a new problem. When locking the door, the deadbolt did not work. In the morning, the shower handle was broken, so we could not shower in the room. The handle just kept spinning around. At the breakfast buffet, the eggs and sausage ran out at 9:15. My son got the last two of each. The staff that was overseeing breakfast said that it would take some time to make them, and it sounded like she was not going to put forth the effort. Fine. I went to the front desk to get keys to another room to shower in. When I asked for a refund, the manager replied, "Well, you had a room to stay in for the night, right?" When I returned five minutes later to the breakfast buffet with no eggs or sausage in the warmer, I decided on a waffle, but there was no waffle batter. I exasperatedly asked the breakfast staff if there was any batter, and she indicated that she was heating up my eggs. In an Otis Spunkmeyer cookie oven. Only the eggs and no sausage. She did bring me out a ceramic coffee mug (not hotel issue, more like a personal mug) with waffle batter in it. Shortly after, she brought out two eggs; however, we were not the last guests who had come down to breakfast, so they did not have any eggs or sausage, either. And the orange juice dispenser didn't work, but a pitcher of Sunny D was in the cooler. As I was going back up to the room, a young woman with about 5 young children in tow was explaining to them that the pool was closed for maintenance issues. Back in the new room with the shower, the smoke alarm kept chirping for a new battery. I chose Country Inn and Suites for its reputation, and I have never stayed in a hotel that was so lacking in its attention to guest comfort.
This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. I booked and paid for three nights in advance, but the hotel was in very poor condition and completely failed to meet basic standards.
From the moment I arrived, the lack of cleanliness and maintenance was obvious. The elevator signage was dirty and broken. The room did not have enough towels, and the shampoo bottle was almost empty, which shows a lack of basic housekeeping. The internet was extremely unreliable and disconnected constantly, making it almost unusable. On top of that, my door key card stopped working twice, causing unnecessary inconvenience.
Breakfast was another major disappointment. The area was very small, overcrowded, noisy, and uncomfortable, with people talking loudly. There were very few food options, and the quality was poor.
Because of these serious issues, I decided to cancel the remaining two nights. Despite checking out early and not using the last night at all, the hotel refused to refund me for the unused nights. Keeping payment for services that were not provided is unacceptable and unprofessional.
This hotel is poorly managed, badly maintained, and does not respect its guests. I strongly advise others to avoid staying here.
Nothing.
Hot water didnt work in bathroom. Room had an odor. Had to use shower in 2nd room.
Took 4 tries to get room key to work, overall very dirty, and rooms and halls, all old carpet, and stinks. Comp breakfast was terrible. Run by Arabs, that are not very accommodating. Drunks, and garbage around openly.
Location
It’s not clean, you have to request everything even towels. Very loud you can hear the people next to you and above you
Location was fine.
So so dirty. Garbage just thrown around in the hallway on the 4th floor, along with articles of clothes. The 4th floor hall hadnt been vacuumed in quite a while. Tub/shower grout hadnt been cleaned maybe ever - mold. Mattress caved way in on one side and I'd guess the box spring was broke by the sounds.
