Unpleasant stay but good staff.

Excellent Location

Cons:

Its old style building with portable air conditioning unit. The unit was very very loud. I just couldn’t sleep or stay inside room for longer duration. I had to check out a day in advance as it was unbearable to spend to another day in the room. Though hotel reception apologized for the inconvenience and promised to fix the situation for the future guests. Hopefully they do. My vacation was unpleasant though.

THE WORST HOTEL I’VE EVER BEEN IN! DO NOT STAY HERE.
Pros:

Nothing!

Cons:

-Smells bad.
-Lots of crack heads in the area, not a safe neighborhood for a hotel.
- The club next door is loud, we heard it all night long.
-Room smells like mold, cigarettes.
- Dirty beddings, sheets, bathroom.
- Clogged bathroom sink and toilet

Great for the price
Pros:

It’s great for the price and you are right in the centre of Montreal. It’s the ideal place if you are cool with a more minimal and cost effective stay.

Cons:

You are in the middle of the downtown core so you need to expect things to be a bit rough. We had homeless people and people tweaking on drugs follow us up to the door on multiple occasions. This is the reality of a downtown core, and something that just needs to be accepted. If you are a single woman I would consider staying somewhere else or not leaving the hotel after 11pm. All in all, the price and location are worth it if you are on a budget.

It’s average stay for a budget friendly price
Pros:

The location is convenient and close to many places in downtown Montreal

Cons:

there was no hot water in the shower. The AC run quite loud so it’s a bit hard to sleep at night

We were very happy with the staff and the well-equipped rooms.
Pros:

The staff was super helpful, being fluent in English and French. They met every request we had immediately, and were very friendly. In addition, the rooms were air-conditioned and had fans, absolutely indispensable in summer, and we had a little fridge. What struck me most was that at night everything was quiet despite its location in a vibrant area with clubs etc.

Cons:

When we arrived, we saw that the bathtub could have been cleaned a little more, but it was nothing that would not go away under running water.
