Not again, too many other better choices
Pros:

Booked what should have been one of the better rooms based on price and description. Was not given the room I booked, which will be discussed with the hotel. It is seemingly an older hotel, has both a 13th and 14th floor which seems less common in China as 4 is considered unlucky and I was given 1404, maybe as I am a westerner. Frustrating that hotels choose to treat guests like they will not know any better and effectively downgrade you. More surprising given my lifetime status. I will not go back, too many other hotels to choose from.

Breakfast is like most others - buffet style nothing special and everything at the same lukewarm temperature. Lounge has nice river view, but very open and as nobody has ear/headphones it seems, plenty of noise you might not want to listen to.

Chinese restaurant on 4th floor was nice and we enjoyed the food we had for dinner.

There area around the hotel is decent, shops restaurants, places to walk. The nearest metro line is a short car/taxi/Didi drive away.
