Location, size of and cleanliness of suite, friendliness and professionalism of staff.
The staff truly made our stay memorable. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and welcoming, and the older woman working breakfast on our second morning was absolutely wonderful. She was warm, kind, and took great pride in what she did. The breakfast that morning was fresh, well presented, and a completely different experience. I also loved the location. It was peaceful, just far enough from the interstate to be quiet while still being convenient for travelers. The view of the water in the morning and evening was beautiful and made for a relaxing stay.
Unfortunately, our stay started with a frustrating check-in experience. I had already prepaid through Booking.com and had my confirmation showing the reservation was fully paid. I was told my card was only being used for incidentals, but the hotel ended up charging me for the room a second time. I'm still working to resolve the duplicate charge, which put a damper on the trip.
The room also didn't seem to have been cleaned thoroughly before our arrival. There was a noticeable odor, the shower and table didn't appear to have been properly cleaned, and the floors needed sweeping.
Breakfast on our first morning was disappointing. The food looked unappetizing, with watery sliced ham, rubbery eggs, fruit that didn't appear fresh, and waffle batter that was thick and clumpy. Thankfully, our second morning was a complete turnaround thanks to the wonderful breakfast attendant, whose care and attention made all the difference.

Breakfast was convenient, but subpar.
Air conditioner in room was so loud. Took shower 30 minutes to heat all the way up and I had it turned all the way up. I asked to have my bed made and told them I spilled coffee on the floor and was told someone would come up to change my sheets and clean it up and no one ever did.
Quality building with lots of local shops and restaurants. Wish I had the pool and lake view but it was not available.

I liked the Basketball court and pool since it gave us something to do do at the hotel.
The signs inside the hotel said Pool & Spa and had arrows pointing to it. I did not see a spa or hot tub so I asked the receptionist and she said that there was no hot tub.
The breakfast was ok but the eggs looked really fake and not appetizing.
It was a very comfortable room.
I can't think of a thing that I didn't like.

Nice breakfast, quiet location.
I stayed 5 days and my room was never cleaned. Several mornings I had the 'do not disturb' on the door but it was always removed by 10 am. I could have spent $300 less and had my room cleaned daily.
