Lovely hotel if you want a quiet retreat
Pros:

Large room, beautiful main pool and beach. It was also very nice and quiet without a lot of people. The hotel itself is beautiful and staff are very attentive. We came here for part of our honeymoon and I would recommend it for couples who don't really want a buzz and only want relaxation and early nights.

Cons:

We had a room with a pool and the pool water is not filtered and so it attracts alot of mosquitoes outside in and around the stagnant water. As the shower and toilet are outside without a door or windows, this meant we got eaten alive in the bathroom. The staff tried their very best to control this with insect repellent and smokey incense but we still got covered in bites. The food in the restaurant was nice but quite expensive for what it was. The breakfast has options but not as many and other hotels we've been to.

There was no evening entertainment or a "buzz" in the hotel either in the day time or evening which I did miss. Similarly there is not much within walking distance of the hotel so we had to get taxis everywhere or stay at our villa.

Pros:

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It was exceptionally clean and overall very beautiful, which made it easy to feel comfortable right away. Everything was well maintained and thoughtfully designed, with great attention to detail.

Cons:

What I didn’t like as much was the breakfast selection. The options were quite limited and more or less the same every day, including the same three types of fruit. There was also a small menu you could order from, but overall I expected a bit more variety. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the room also didn’t work properly, so I ended up sleeping in a warm room for the entire week.

We loved every minute and would definitely come back!
Pros:

Most friendly staff! We stayed in a pool access suite and it was magical. Felt like we had our our own private pool even though it was shared with 8 other suites.

Pros:

The property is fantastic. The room and the staff were great. It’s such a peaceful and relaxing place. Would absolutely stay there again. Pierre the General Manger provided world class service and made my trip very memorable.
