Days Inn by Wyndham Peterborough

Parking was easy and included. I really could not ask for more given it was so cheap including breakfast.

All the rooms were large compared the the others days inn I have stay in

Bathroom was covered in mold in the grout

Bedroom was very clean. The bathroom however looked as though it had recently had tiles grouted and the excess grout had not been cleaned off the tiles.

Stayed last week and all was as expected. Convenient location so no issues there. The room allocation was ok this time but there was a strong smell of vomit that seemed to persist so likely room was not adequately deep cleaned after the previous visitor. I didn’t go to reception to request a different room, so that’s my own fault, but I shouldn’t have needed to even think about that.

Good for one night stay

Was pleasantly surprised. And staff were really welcoming.

I stayed at the Days Inn by Wyndham Peterborough on 20th June and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room (108) was filthy and in an unacceptable state of hygiene. There were white stains on the carpet by the bed, more stains on the carpet near the desk, and the bedboard itself was covered in sweaty handprints and other stains. To make matters worse, I even noticed what appeared to be blood on the wall by the desk.

This is not just a case of poor cleaning, it shows a complete lack of basic standards. I raised a complaint with the hotel and provided photographic evidence but nothing has been done. The fact that a reputable chain allows rooms to be rented out in this condition is shocking.

If you value cleanliness, safety, or even basic respect as a paying guest, stay far away from this hotel.

Overnight stay on our travels, convenient, cofortable and excellent value. Exactly what we were looking for. In a motorway service area so not a destination in itself

Easy area for traveling

Room was clean but was really hot windows did not open more than 2 inches. Basic accommodation but convenient for our needs.
Could do with updating and air conditioning!

Cheap hotel but does the job. We needed an over night stay and it does the job. One of our other parties had a room that smelt a drainy but they moved her straight away when we went back to the guy on reception who had checked us in. Staff are polite so can't fault it. Nice spacious room and comfy bed

Great easy place

On check in we were given the key to an already occupied room which myself and children walked into, with the occupants in bed and the stench of weed hit you as soon as the door was opens. Absolutely horrified and disgusted went to reception where he tried to give us the room next door instead of which I declined as I wasn’t stopping next to a room which oozed the stench of weed. Was given another room which was barely adequate, I paid for two adults and two children, only one of the single beds was made up and there were only 2 towels. Would never stop here again

We only stayed for one night, the window was sealed as the handle was broken so we had a fan in the room, which was ok but couldn’t be left on in the night because it was so noisy and the room was very hot.
There was no shower gel in the bottle in the shower, luckily I had brought a small bottle of shower gel with me. The bed was very comfy though. As I said ok for a very short stay.

Corridors and toilets need deep clean

It did what I needed. Having not arrived till 2.30am check in was quick. Room was ok but nothing that nice.
