It really is as good as the reviews.
Pros:

Friendly helpful staff, Great room (excellent shower) clean and the breakfast is excellent as other people have said. It was a perfect stopover for a drink at The Nickel Bar and a party at the Libertine Pub :-)

Cons:

Nothing it really was a great stay.

My prefered choice for City of London
Pros:

Great location and wonderfully quiet

Ideales Hotel für einen Aufenthalt von 3 Nächten, zentral gelegen, ruhige Umgebung.
Pros:

Das Frühstück wird serviert, außerordentlich gut und reichhaltig.
Das Zimmer sehr geräumig, gute Aufteilung.
Freundliches Personal an der Rezeption.
In der Nacht ruhig, angenehmer Schlaf möglich.

Cons:

Die Fenster lassen sich nicht, oder nur einen Spalt öffnen.
Die Dusche überproportional groß, leider sehr kalte Räumlichkeit, weil nicht geheizt.

Great for a short stay in the city 5 mins from train station
Pros:

Clean and spacious and how close it was to the city and Liverpool Street station maybe a 5-10 min walk we also found free parking round the corner at weekends , we was there on a Saturday

Kind and friendly and the room was excellent
Pros:

Clean and modern , the staff were all very pleasant and willing to help at all times

Cons:

No price list on the mini bar in our room
The evening meal was poor for the cost, many ingredients missing from the plate compared to the menu and my starter was delivered to the wrong table
