Based on our previous experience, we have chosen the same hotel for our short winter stay. Like in the past, we really enjoyed the few days in Rome. Yet this year, we learned that the delicious cakes ready for each breakfast are freshly prepared by Roberta (one of the breakfast room assistants). The cakes are unforgettable and Roberta is willing to share her recipes!
My husband was looking for the chocolate cake, I preferred the cheesecake, and all the other ones like the apple cake, etc., are exceptional, too.

The hotel’s location near the Spanish Steps is excellent. From the hotel, most of Rome’s main attractions can be reached on foot within up to a 35 minute walk in any direction. The nearby public transportation is also very convenient, and of course the shopping street is just a maximum of 10 minutes away.

Cons:

The rooms are very small, but after getting used to them, it’s not really a problem.

Perfect, romantic stay in this central boutique hotel
Pros:

The location, the very friendly and helpful staff, the delicious breakfasts. The cleanliness of the rooms. It exceeded our expectations. We had been recommended to stay with you and we loved every minute. My husband had to work all day on Friday and the WiFi was very good and he was comfortable at the desk in the room.

Cons:

I didn’t like leaving ! We wished we could have stayed longer !

The room was clean and spacious enough for me. Rooms were cleaned & tidied daily. Breakfast had a good range of options. Left is quite quick considering its age. All staff were very helpful and friendly - a pleasure to engage with.
