Beautiful location, lovely staff and very pretty cottages. Very good hotel for golfers.
Pros:

For people in the cottages you have to purchase breakfast from the 'Estate Store'. However the options were good and not excessively pricey. Golf course was very good and very well maintained.

Cons:

Food at the golf bar was dear for fairly standard options.

Apart from early morning disruption, very good indeed. Wonderful staff. Beautiful grounds and hotel
Pros:

We were not able to dine in the restaurant for breakfast as we were staying in a cottage, which was a disappointment. However the breakfast voucher we received every day was very good value. The store was well stocked and staff very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

The sand piles which were used for the maintenance of the golf course being placed just outside our cottage, and the green staff starting their work at 6am in the morning using dumpers to move it, sand should be been placed away from cottages

So bad we didn't even stay and I'm STILL waiting for a refund. At every turn the answer was a NO. No you cant book any activities for your family. No you cant have a dinner reservation (dinner only available at 9 pm). Headed to the bar - No real options - only 3 very odd options available so we didn't bother. No you can't bring your child to the pool. No you cant use the Spa as there isn't a bed for you (only wanted to use the pool still wasn't allowed in) and even then they wanted an extra £65 ... from a hotel guest!? Lunch in "The Clubhouse" was exceptionally poor and took an hour to come. Chef effing and jeffing hitting the wall behind the scenes didn't exactly inspire confidence. Told to pick breakfast up from the shop - shop was CLOSED! When we mentioned this the GM didn't even know his own shop was closed. All over it was a shambles. They pretend to be family friendly but are absolutely not. Such a shame as the surroundings are lovely but the service and food offering are dreadful.

Pros:

Fina stugor som låg en bit bort från slottet, sköna sängar!!

Cons:

Lite för långt från slottet
Inträdet till SPA avdelningen var HUTLÖST och onödigt dyrt fast man bodde på området

Pros:

Amazing beautiful location

Cons:

Why’s it so expensive .. and all residents should be allowed to use spa facilities however we had to pay £65 PER PERSON and the staff at the spa hadn’t even clarified that till after we paid !!!! To expensive for nothing .. ended up just going to Sainsbury’s and making our own food as it was a cottage we stayed at which was absolutely immaculate!! Staff however was lovely no issues and breakfast was amazing .. there was a chef that made eggs in front of us but no longer does which was quite disappointing overall beautiful stay .

Cons:

The waiter in The Clubhouse told us he’sd licked the ain entrance and that we’d have to leave by the back door. We were still eating our meal and were rushed. The back door led on to a dark area with no lights. I have walking issues so was very uncomfortable having to walk around the building

I did not like the view on the parking. If I book a good hotel and a good room, definitely the view should be different.
