Breakfast buffet is gone!

Check in lady was great! Location perfect.

Cons:

We have always booked HGI because of the exceptional breakfast. Buffet, plus cook to order included in price. Last stay buffet only with option to pay for cook to order. This time our confirmation said breakfast included for $1 per person. I paid nig money for 2 rooms expecting at least buffet. As we arrived to dining area the gentlemen in the kitchen yelled out to us. (4 adults, plus (3,9,11,12 year olds) He said are you expecting free breakfast? We noticed the amazing buffet was not there. We said yes we expected to eat. He said nothing is free. You will be charged 10.95 per person! We showed him our confirmation. He said he was aware of the false info on websites but it wasn't his problem. There we stood with 4 hungry kids! I had been telling them how great breakfast was gonna be! The young lady at check in desk was so caring and apologetic. That man was a perk! Hilton garden inn has lost a loyal customer. I dont stay often, but we always look for hgi. I think he could have at least offered to feed the kids with paying adult. Instead he brought me to tears.
