Cons:

This is our 2nd stay and had booked again looking forward to eating at Spice Den, the restaurant on-site. Unfortunately the 2 nights we stayed is the 2 nights, Monday and Tuesday, the restaurant is closed. This didn't affect our stay and we still enjoyed our visit, hindsight we should have confirmed the restaurant was open. No complaints about Oaks though. A lovely place to stay

Pros:

Staff in restaurant were very accommodating to our needs. Although we we do not usually partake in Thai foods (i think it was Thai) the staff advised us what would be suitable to our palates.

Cons:

The shower head in the ensuite it was too high up in the ceiling for me to adjust. Although my spouse could adjust when he showered, the ensuite always flooded right into the toilet area. If we ever renovated our main bathroom at home, we would have another Perspex door placed in side the unit of the showering area, as one does not have time in our busy lives to be cleaning up self made floods each time we shower. I did feel sorry for the cleaning having to clean this never ending flood.

Very good overall, modern, value for money, well managed.
Pros:

Room we stayed in was refitted and very modern / coastal. Comfortable bedding and ammenities. Great location near the local Coles / Shopping and beachfront. Quiet and very easy to get around.

Cons:

Small maintenance issue the electric BBQ, and could benefit in the kitchenette with an air fryer, which would be a great modern kitchen value add.

Beautiful pool and surrounds. Luxurious room.

Cons:

Trying to find the room is an absolute nightmare. It is like going through a maze of lifts, across the pool, up the stairs and feels like you are going around in circles. Incredibly frustrating experience when you have to phone reception twice for guidance for your allocated accommodation.

Beautiful little Balinese Style Hideaway
Pros:

Loved this place - felt like we were in Bali - the setting was beautiful, rooms lovely, pool & spa area just lovely - the weather was a bit rainy but still warm, so loved that one of the pools was heated. The restaurant - Spice Den - is excellent! Close to amenities, including supermarket - a little cafe "Tucker" around the corner, just excellent!
