Good overall! No real frills for the price. Great location

Needs to improve to match it with other hotels in this category
Cons:

Very hard to see this hotel as more than a 4 star at best. Reception was slow - only manned by one staff member. We had to wait about 10 minutes to get served.
Our room smelt of some strange chemical - however they did promptly move us to another room.
No furniture on the balcony. Rooms were ok size, bathroom was small.
The pool is also used by guests staying in motel next door so both times we tried to use the pool we could not get a sub lounge.

Okay hotel but would probably get a hotel nearer the city centre next time.
Pros:

Looking over the park.
The swimming pool.

Cons:

The “white “ towels were grey and old.
There could have been table and chairs on the balcony.
I had to ask for face and hand towels for two people so we didn’t have to share.
Also not enough tea bags left each day.
Not enough space to share the sunbathing beds.

The bed was comfy & the room was spacious and clean

Cons:

The shower & bathroom flooded even after a short 2 min shower which was annoying as the bathroom floor was constantly wet. The staff were rude at check in and breakfast, but the lady at check out was lovely. We were also disappointed because we mainly picked the hotel as we wanted a nice pool, but the pool was closed for an event, looks like it is most saturdays as well. Pool closures should be made obvious when booking, as we would not have come. Felt like a waste of money as we could not use the pool from 9am

Nice hotel, check pool access prior to booking.
Pros:

Location, views of the park, modern rooms, nice pool.

Cons:

Pool closed for private functions on a Saturday, and pool parties on a Sunday.. therefore limited access to guests for pool use. Ask to stay and extra night, despite vacancies quote was $$$$$ and reception staff dismissive.

Pros:

Great location, in the heart of the CBD. Had great facilities, gym and a swimming pool. Room was a decent size with free ammenities.

The swimming pool was closed for one of the days of our stay due to a private function

Cons:

Our TV did not work, they tried to fix but couldn’t they said we had to get up and turn the tv on and off from behind the screen and wait 2 mins each time. They said they would change the unit. However they didnt and when complained to Luke he said very rudely it was working and if we wanted they would come into our room each time to turn it in and off. We asked for a refund on our breakfast as compensation and was told that the manager would email us. Guess what we haven’t heard from them since
