The breakfast was good. I love the location of the hotel.
The mobility accessible bathroom did not have enough bars or a moveable hand held shower wand. My husband has mobility issues and the general manager’s response to our need for a shower chair was hurtful and insensitive.
Highly recommend! Newly remodeled. I've stayed here regularly for business trips over the years and it's been fine. But this visit I was pleased to see they have just completed a large remodeling; such an improvement. The free breakfast got an improvement as well and is a nice perk. And the hotel desk staff were really nice and friendly.
Location
Refurbished and clean with a great helpful staff!
Can’t think of anything major a little more refurbishing on main level maybe
Jalan at front desk was less than helpful
No customer service skills

My daughter had a dance competition at the Hopkins High School. With Friday and time around midnight and Saturday start of 9am we decided to do alittle bit of a Stacation and chose the Homewood Suites. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was. Our room was perfect for my daughter and I. The in room kitchen with a full size fridge was wonderful to cut down out eating out costs. The privacy of having the sitting area and bedroom with a closing door was nice. There is a 24 hour Cub Foods next door that was nice when we got back at 1230 a.m. Friday, to grab a few snacks. The breakfast buffet was delicious and offered many great choices. Being so close to the shops and restaurants was very nice. I wish wr had had more time to explore. All in all its was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for!! The room was nice and clean and the front desk staff were very kind and helpful.
Hubby and I decided to make date night a staycation so we chose our fav place to stay and to do dinner and fun at west end! We loved the new renovations at the hotel , they look great! Every time we are always taken such good care of from Jallah one of the most genuine, friendly, and helpful front desk staff ever! This guy deserves a raise! Check out was also smooth and wonderful with Leah! It’s our go to spot not only for everyone I send there through my business but also any friends and family coming in to town! We love it!
I love the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff.
I didn't like that I had to switch rooms due to the first one being half cleaned.
Staff were very friendly! Breakfast was good
On the last morning of our stay, we were awakened by drills in the ceiling at 8am. Not happy as this was our only day to sleep in for our 5 hour drive home. The one pot in our room couldn’t even boil water because it was so warped. The 4 spoons, and 3 forks were not enough for all of us to even enjoy a meal together. In order for us to use the pull out bed, we had to go to the front desk to get blankets for it. Definitely not the cleanest place, beds not comfortable, and pillows were horrible.
Breakfast, the king suite and overall customer service from the staff was exceptional.
Amazing staff members during our long stay at this hotel while we were displaced from our home due to pipe freeze. Front desk Leah Jallah, and Robert truly amazing !!!
Breakfast women, Latica and Arlan also incredible !!!! All kind, professional and super personal. I miss them all ! They all made our stay so memorable !!!!! Andy and Beth Muench/Addington
There are things to like about this hotel as well as things not to.
First the negatives: The hotel is in desperate need of an upgrading to the common areas and the rooms. The entire east side of the hotel faces directly into a neighboring apartment building, so you need to keep your blinds completely shut for any privacy, The breakfast was very basic, not that interesting nor that tasty, No acknowledgement or recognition of Hilton Gold status.
Second the positives: The location is great for access to downtown Minneapolis and surrounding suburbs. Free Parking, Within a very short walking distance are many shops, restaurants and a large grocery store, The staff wants to be helpful when issues are pointed out to them.
Ask to stay on the west side of the hotel the side facing the parking lot.
