I love the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff.
I didn't like that I had to switch rooms due to the first one being half cleaned.
Staff were very friendly! Breakfast was good
On the last morning of our stay, we were awakened by drills in the ceiling at 8am. Not happy as this was our only day to sleep in for our 5 hour drive home. The one pot in our room couldn’t even boil water because it was so warped. The 4 spoons, and 3 forks were not enough for all of us to even enjoy a meal together. In order for us to use the pull out bed, we had to go to the front desk to get blankets for it. Definitely not the cleanest place, beds not comfortable, and pillows were horrible.
Breakfast, the king suite and overall customer service from the staff was exceptional.
Amazing staff members during our long stay at this hotel while we were displaced from our home due to pipe freeze. Front desk Leah Jallah, and Robert truly amazing !!!
Breakfast women, Latica and Arlan also incredible !!!! All kind, professional and super personal. I miss them all ! They all made our stay so memorable !!!!! Andy and Beth Muench/Addington
There are things to like about this hotel as well as things not to.
First the negatives: The hotel is in desperate need of an upgrading to the common areas and the rooms. The entire east side of the hotel faces directly into a neighboring apartment building, so you need to keep your blinds completely shut for any privacy, The breakfast was very basic, not that interesting nor that tasty, No acknowledgement or recognition of Hilton Gold status.
Second the positives: The location is great for access to downtown Minneapolis and surrounding suburbs. Free Parking, Within a very short walking distance are many shops, restaurants and a large grocery store, The staff wants to be helpful when issues are pointed out to them.
Ask to stay on the west side of the hotel the side facing the parking lot.
On Halloween night we smelled gas and called the gas company it was confirmed we had our second gas leak happening , they shut the gas off and told us we needed to replace the lines , however it was the weekend and even emergency plumber options couldn’t come until 2 days. So we headed to a hotel thinking it might be a night or two well it turned into 6 ! We started at a hotel down the street, the Doubletree and because of a lot of things broken we called Homewood to see if we could switch! They gave me an awesome rate and let me know to come on over! Best thing we could have done!
The staff was incredible! Curt, Will, Lindsay were the managers most days and they mage things so much less stressful extending our stay day by day. Chiquita and Robert were awesome too always taking care of us. Amanda in the sales office was wonderful and I’m so excited for my business to partner in the future when I send employees to hotels near by the office. We loved our room , our 6 year old used the pull out bed and had his own tv , while my hubby and I had the king bed in the other room with our own tv. The bed was so comfy! Housekeeping was great , always brought what we needed! My kid loved the pool at night after school along with the super fun sports court! I also loved jumping on the treadmill each night to get my steps in! The breakfast was perfect! Loved that they switched up the food daily and couldn’t have asked for a better selection! Plus the ladies that work there kitchen were so kind and friendly! Also decent coffee!
Even tho out trip was VERY unexpected We loved our stay there and def will be back! Thank you for making a very stressful situation a little less stressed Homewood crew! 🙂
Great hotel in St. Louis Park! The hotel was clean and in good condition. Rooms were nice and big and clean. We had a 2 room suite with a pull out couch that was perfect for our family of 6! Loved that it had a full size fridge and kitchen set with everything we needed. We didn't use the stove top but did use the dishes and fridge. There is a small dishwasher and dish soap provided to clean up afterwards. The Beds were comfortable! Bathroom had a separate sink and vanity from the shower/toilet which made it nice for getting our family ready for the day. The pool is open till 11 pm which was great! It was a good temperature. The only downside was that the staff weren't coming to pick up towels people left or refilling new ones which made the area of sort of mess. There are signs up saying a renovation is come soon but the property wasn't in bad shape! They have an awesome outdoor patio and grill area with plenty of seats. They even had a small basketball court and bags (cornhole) to play.
Now for the cons: breakfast left a lot to be desired. They had cheese omelets every day that were horrible. The potatoes were cold and tasteless. Our first day they ran out of food 45 minutes before breakfast was over and didn't refill the waffle batter or oatmeal. The overnight staff are not nearly as friendly and appeared to be inconvenienced by our request for more towels (2 for 6 people) and extra linens for the couch.
All in all, it was a good stay for the 2 nights we were there. Would stay again.
Location was quiet and safe. Grocery store 100 feet away. Decent breakfast spread.
Switched rooms 3 times. First one wasnt ready. 2nd one we got to room and a man was switching out all kinds of stuff with tools. Offered to let us come in while he finished working for the next hour. Room we finally got in was missing remotes and bedding. Dishes and glasses were dirty. Pool water was in pretty bad shape too.
We were initially greeted by front desk staff, namely Jallah, who was very.accomodating and friendly!. Room was very nice and bed was comfortable and breakfast.was.good!.
Was quite disappointed in the front desk morning employee who bluntly told me that he would not accept a little later checkout, 11:30-11:45, even though my email stated that checkout was noon! Also I have been a Hilton Honors member for quite some time.
Nice location and great staff!
It is always great to stay here.
We had a great stay. We like the roominess of the one bedroom apartment like room. I like having a full size refrigerator. The hotel is very clean. We enjoyed using the pool. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It’s also in a great location to walk to restaurants, the grocery store and shops and a movie theater.
It was an enjoyable experience. The staff was friendly, professional and efficient; excellent customer service. The breakfast was very good.I'm looking forward to another stay at the hotel when I return to Minnesota soon.
