I've stayed at worse. Probably okay for work travel, but was definitely sub-optimal for our event.
Pros:

The location is handy, and considering how busy the services was at the time, the hotel was surprisingly quiet volume-wise at all times; we also had view of trees from the window, which was unexpected. The decor looked fresh, and the bed was surprisingly comfy which outdid more expensive hotels we've stayed at recently on those fronts. The shower cubicle was very well thought out; I have some mobility problems, so not having to get into a shower/tub combo was welcome. The cubicle we had was both large and had a built-in shower seat which was an excellent design choice.

Cons:

The hotel is lacking in amenities & services; there's no USB sockets, & no breakfast/room service etc, Snacks can be bought at Reception, but fortunately, there are some decent breakfast options at the service station. The "bar" is an absolute joke; it's literally just buying drinks at Reception. The products available are very limited and overpriced, & the staff seem to have no idea what they have or what anything costs; we just picked up a bottle of wine and some beers from M&S Food at the service station for less than the price of one bottle of wine at the "bar". There is no real area to sit with drinks indoors either, save some seating at Reception & what is laughably called the "lounge" (it's a couple of tables in an upstairs corridor), so there's no reason not to take the cheaper option. Fortunately, the weather was nice enough for us to sit outside, but we noticed that whilst there is a polite notice asking smokers to use the "bin provided", there isn't actually any "bin provided" for this purpose at all. There is a definite lack of attention from the staff; despite there being two of us booked for a double room, they only provided one set of towels, no spare pillows, & no easy means of notifying staff if you wanted the room cleaned during a longer stay. The room key cards are useless; they're easily wiped by even the slightest exposure to electrical items (ie. phone), and the coding wore off before we were ready to check out anyway.

I take medication and require water as I wake up and nothing. However there was a young girl at reception who was lovely
Pros:

Property was ok, but I do believe water should be available. Whether a cup is left in room or small bottle. I also would like to say their is usually a little for tea in room you dot not even have that.

Pros:

Good location, comfy bed. We stayed here after Iron Maiden at Knebworth so didn't reach the hotel until after 12.30am.

Cons:

Fire alarm at 7am that kept going and going. Fire service in attendance but no evacuation of the hotel or information of what was going on. We just got dressed and left by 7.30am.

Noise of deliveries to the service station in the night.
