Breakfast was not complete included. They charged me extra for breakfast
The massage was amazing, but you can only use the amanities for 2.5 hrs even if you have a room for some nights, also the pool was really cold, so no one really used it.
These Hotel was beyond my expectations, excellent, with a complete full SPA jacuzzi, swimming pool, and sauna very professional personal and very polite the hotel is in top of beautiful View of a lake and a city . For me has 5 stars razonable price .
very quiet place for a time to relax and find inner peace.
Sauna are separate for women and men... i was with my wife and have to spend time alone when i was on this area.
No transportation from the airport, the staff at breakfast were definitely not expecting me
The property was very nice and the view was like none I ever seen. I will recommend San Gregorio to anyone who is interested in peace and tranquility.
Everyting was very nice. We where happy and we will be back.
The property is beautiful and the views are great. The restaurant and spa close way too early!
The bed was rock hard and didn't let us sleep very well. The amenities are limited at best.
Stayed there during high season. The rooms were great, pool was nice, sauna was great. But jacuzzi was horrible, the water really smelled like sweat, but it was understandable, because it was hot water and it was working non stop and it was never empty, so it became like a concentrated human stew. Other than that, it was good.
Great place, great spa. Recommended for honey moon
We went for a family vacation to Guatemala we had activities to do the first couple of days, our plan was to relax with the kids the last 4 days.. We were then made aware that the kids are not allowed in the spa which is normal for every hotel we have been to but what they don't tell you is that the pools are inside the spa. The rooms are beautiful but are not very functional, no refrigerator, no place to put your clothes away. It is a beautiful hotel maybe for a overnight hotel and definetely do not bring your children. It would be better if the advertise it as a Adult only hotel.
The place is peacefull, great view, away from city life.
This hotel was amazing; they offer quite a variety of spa services; the pool are is comfortable and relaxing. The bungalows are independent from each other; and since its located in the mountain this provides a very relaxing setting with a great view. One thing I didnt like is that restaurant service from monday to wednesday is limited at night; they close it at 7pm and they charge a fee for bringing food from outaide the hotel...
Service was really bad
We didn't even get to stay, because the hotel didn't have our reservation. They explained to us that Expedia overbooked rooms so ours was not available. They didn't even tried to find a reasonable solution, the only way was to return next week. I have used Expedia several times and I have never experienced something like this. We were supposed to have a relaxed night instead we have the worst night ever trying to get another place to stay for the night. I do not recommend this hotel at all!! they lack responsibility, professionalism and service spirit. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE EVER!!
it was very relaxing and quietfull
The staff was wonderful. The spa, pool, and restaurant were great.
Great stay as always. Breakfast "Huevos Benectinos" are wonderful. Room was cold at night but that's just Guatemala as many hotels and most houses don't have HVAC. We stayed this time in December but also stayed in May when the nights were not as cold. The owner is very gracious and the serivce is exceptional. Views of el Volcan de Pacaya and el Lago de Amatitlan are breathtaking.
The hotel was clean and beautiful. The staff was friendly and kind.
The food was wonderful, but it was overpriced.
They had booked the room that should have been reserved for Expedia, so my daughter and I paid to stay in a tiny room above the kitchen and not the bungalow we should have received. The room had personal effects in the drawers and the closets were kept locked so we had to keep our stuff in our suitcases. The next morning the owner talked to us at breakfast and apologized, stating she would do something to make it up to us. She did not.
The massages were wonderful.
But all the other services we received were subpar.
The pedicures, manicures, facials, and hairstyling were terrible. Their staff is obviously not trained in these services. In fact, the "pedicurist" kept looking at her phone or out the window, while she did the bare minimum awkwardly. The "Aesthetician" kept leaving the room and worked on my face a total of 15 minutes.
