Well located
My room was a few floors up - although I ran the tap for quite a long time there was no hot water. When I mentioned this to the receptionist I was brusquely informed that I was on the top floor and should have waited no longer for the water to get to me.
Nice location and really nice staff ( helpful for muscle to move a motorbike 😂)
Breakfast ideal start to day
Great sea view out of window

Pas d ascenseur et parking payant cher
The hotel is in a perfect location, near the ferry port, beach and attractions
The building is very distinctive, quirky with a really interesting history.
The receptionist allowed us to check in a little early and explained entry codes very clearly
The secure car park
Access to the room was three flights up which was a struggle with luggage.
The shower was not working
A lot of noise from adjacent rooms, not surprising given the age of the building.
A meal in the restaurant was not offered and the bar area closed at 8 pm
On the whole I felt although clean and comfortable it did not offer value for money
Le cadre est super, le personnel très sympathique
On entend beaucoup le bruit dans l'escalier
The location worked very well for coming (or going) to the ferry at Caen, and was easy to find….we had reserved parking which was helpful as though there is public parking nearby the parking nearest to the hotel was busy. It was very close to the main shopping street in Ouistreham so there were easy opportunities for eating, and there was a good bar tabac, Havana with a boulangerie opposite for early coffee croissants before staring our onward journey. It was also close to the beach promenade. The location is definitely a plus point.
The room felt somewhat cramped and tatty - except for the good lighting, which was welcome - the en suite was very small and overall it felt like a cheap hotel but it wasn’t cheap! The bar seemed rather old-fashioned and was little used even on the Saturday evening we were there…..though possibly with many good eating opportunities near to hand that was rather inevitable. I had booked this hotel in accord with a positive review in the Rough Guide but was quite disappointed and my husband would have much preferred the modern spa hotel opposite.
I spent my youth in Ouistreham, so I wanted to show the area to my friend. We loved how close to the beach the Villa was and that our car was inside their courtyard.
Too many codes to open the gate though…
The bathroom was ok but not great but we know it is an older building.
Très bien accueilli personnels très accueillant et sympathique, la chambre très propre et confortable nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir
Rien à redire
L'accueil très chaleureux
