Pros:

Very well located opposite the beach and a few minutes from shops and restaurants in the centre of Ouistreham. An interesting and historic building, nicely maintained with pleasant gardens and good parking. Our room was unfussy but comfortable and great for a night stop before catching the early ferry.
Staff were very welcoming and efficient.

Cons:

Unfortunately the curtain pole and curtains made it impossible to ventilate the room well with the curtains closed. As it was very warm this made the room uncomfortably hot and stuffy and there is no AC or a fan. This would prevent us from staying here again as we prefer to have an open window overnight.

Happy return to Villa Andry
Pros:

We arrived at 23h35, long after the usual latest check-in thanks to post Brexit holdups at the port, but we were greeted with charm and friendliness by our hostess. The room was cool, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. A very welcome facility is a row of 6 car charging points.

Cons:

Nothing.

Friendly and great location. Easy parking. Clean beds but needs an overhaul as very tired.
Pros:

The location is perfect. The bed very comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly.

Cons:

The hotel is very very tired overall. The hallway and stairs are grotty and in need of decorating, along with new carpets. We paid £130 for a sea facing room which I don’t feel was value for money overall .

Good location, secure parking, a few oddities
Pros:

Good location. Secure parking

Cons:

Rather hazardous bathroom: Oddly located, big soap dispenser in shower just waiting to be hit; unstable shower hook, tall basin tap between head and bowl. Rather silly image of soldier on door dominates reception and car park. And not obvious where the entrance is!
