Buddy Lodge

The hotel is in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Khaosan Road and counts with a 7eleven shop, a nighclub and a relaxing terrace with a pool and good music on.
The room is unique, the bed was extra comfortable, the shower pressure was great and the staff are gentle.
It was a bit loud at times, but I had already known it due to its location. You have all the amenities nearby and also a MC Donald's in place. I would stay here again!

Great clean hotel with great amenities & polite staff.

Being here during Songkran, I expect it to be busy and it doesn’t disappoint however the sanctuary of the lobby of the hotel provided at 7:11 and McDonald’s as well as a great Irish bar upstairs meaning you could enjoy all the festivities without having to constantly walk around getting wet. Staff are very friendly. Rooftop swimming pool is excellent and the room was a little dated was comfortable.

Too close to all the khao san road late night action. Very loud at night.

The hotel was in a great location, close to everything and easy transportation all around. The staff were very nice, even after a mix up with our reservation they were very accommodation.
Yes, it was noisy, but that's what you get on Khao San road.

Lovely stay right in the heart of Bangkok. Thought it would be terribly noisy in the room in the evening but was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t. Lovely pool area too.

Overall great place to stay if you want to be in the action of the market. I would say it’s worth the extra 10$ fo get a deluxe room vs superior since it’s a little quieter at night, and their are more outlets

Deluxe room is less noisy than superior room, and has more plug in outlets. Definelty not a hotel for families or quiet time.

Good spot for khaosan road

Right in the busy street of Bangkok. Room and rooftop pool were very clean and comfy. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. I would recommend ear plugs for sleeping at night as corsan road is booming with nightlife. Even with this I had a very enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend yo anyone wanting to experience the rush of Thai nightlife as it is right in the centre of it. Took my parents and my partner here and we all thoroughly enjoyed.

Walkable distance to most places of interest

So it’s right on Khao San road. It’s loud until the sun comes up basically every night. Ear plugs weren’t enough for me. Other than that, everything was great. Decent gym. Within walking distance to a lot and plenty of public transport right at the hotel parked and ready to go somewhere else. It was clean and the ac worked well. The only bad thing was the noise but I risked it knowing it would probably be loud so that’s on me.

Considering it’s smack dab in the middle of one of the crazies walking streets in would It’s definitely not perfectly quiet. You can hear the road especially on the weekends, but it it wasn’t to the point that it affected my sleep. The staff was awesome and the pool is an absolute lifesaver, and feels like an oasis in the middle of KhaoSan Rd..

I've stayed a few times at the Buddy Lodge. The bathrooms were upgraded on this occasion. Despite being right in the middle of Khao San Road, inside the rooms it is quiet and the beds are comfortable.

Really enjoyed this property. The rooftop pool is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok although located right in the heart of Khoa San road. The rooms had a ton of old charm making for an excellent stay aside from the noise at night from the clubs on the Main Street.. overall wasn’t a major issue though would recommend!

Perfect place to stay if doing markets, koasan road area, even though your on the busy area, the room was still quiet at night. Enjoyed our stay.
