Set in beautiful surroundings with lovely pool and gardens. Handy evening shuttle to town. Helpful staff provided massage and transport suggestions. Bungalows are somewhat dated and showing age, especially the bathrooms.
Heerlijk verblijf op prachtige locatie
The room was not well maintained, probably not used a long time during Covid. We heard rats running around on the ceiling having their own 'party' at night, and we could not sleep.
The property is gorgeously rampant with beautiful vegetation. Manager Som and Nuria and staff make you feel like you have personal attendants. Restaurant is excellent. This place deserves a Ten Star rating on a scale of 1-5.

Amazing resort surrounded by nature. A private bungalow is spacious and well appointed but nothing fancy. Just simple, clean and very comfortable. We had a very good night sleep. We met the owner and she’s very friendly. We stayed there on Christmas Eve and she offered us complimentary fruit cake which was very delicious. The resort also arranged a Bonfire which used to grill fresh sweet corn and sweet yam. We really had a great time that night. Staffs were also friendly and helpful. Plenty of selections for breakfast (we opted for breakfast when booked). Overall I would recommend Fern Resort either for a couples or family with kids for those who plan to visit Mae Hong Son. Forgot to mention that they have 2 swimming pools. One located in the middle of the resort and another one that overlook the resort’s vegetable farm with Mountain View.
Das Ressort war sehr schön gelegen mitten in der Natur und sehr ruhig. Morgens wurde man von den Hähnen und Hunde geweckt. Es gab einen kostenlosen Shuttle nach Mae Hong Son.
Great location, quiet, amazing pool, nice “green” atmosphere in a natural environment. Bathroom would benefit from an upgrade.
Unfreundliches Personal. Man wird nicht beachtet. Zimmer modrig und irgendwelche Tiere arbeiten sich durch die Möbel.
Veraltete Bungalows und auch altes Bad. Für diesen Preis erwartet man in Mae Hong Son viel mehr.

Serene, nature Eco setting located at edge of large national park. Beautifully landscaped with lush fauna, tropical trees and ferns. This is a resort to relax, rest and replenish the soul. Great nature trail to hike on adjacent to resort.
Magnifique situation dans un jardin luxuriant. Calme absolu près d’un cours d’eau et au milieu de rizières.
Les pavillons sont par contre vieillissants, surtout au niveau des sanitaires qui sont limites. La literie elle aussi est très en deçà de se que l’on trouve habituellement en Thaïlande.
Par contre très bonne cuisine sur place.
This resort is an eco resort just outside of the main town situated on the edge of a nature reserve. A lovely place very relaxing and a good place to stay for further trips. There is also a shuttle bus into town which is well worth a visit
I have even here before and it's a beautiful place and the staff are fabulous and friendly. It isn't chi chi nor 5 star but if you like natural places and ecology this is a little slice of loveliness.
This resort is amazing. We just stumbled upon it while riding motorcycles and instantly fell in love. This is a true gem that you shouldn't pass up. There is something wrong with the rating system showing 2.5 stars. This resort is at least a solid 4+ star.
Our rooms are fine but amenities look cheap with poor quality. The egg station and rice soup at breakfast are good but other dishes and selections for coffeee and tea need significant improvement.
Great place to stay when in Mae Hong Son. You feel like you’re in a different world, but a nice one that is! If you’re not a good walker, then request a cabin close to the lobby. Would definitely recommend this to my friends.
Pro: quiet and natural atmosphere is great. Love rice field next to the room.
Con: There is no TV
Lovely eco hotel situated 10 minutes outside if Mae Hong Song down a small village road. Beautifully landscaped with two pools, the second an infinity pool newly inaugurated which uses a state of the rt filtration system that is eco friendly to the adjacent rice farm.
