We can't fault our experience at the Silk Path. From the late check in, welcome snack, to the sumptuous breakfast buffet in an elegant dining room through to the lovely gardens and pool area, all was beyond expectations. Due to the typhoons perhaps there were few other quests but that is not a reflection on the hotel or it's staff. Would definitely stay at this or other Silk Paths again.
The spa was exceptional. Overall I did not feel the 5* experience. Rooms are very clean and modern. Food was great. But rooms are not soundproofed as advertised - there was planned renovation going on but we were not informed. Not a very relaxing stay unfortunately.
Very helpful and friendly reception staff who went above and beyond for us. Breakfast was great with lots of choices. Great gym and comfortable rooms which were cleaned daily and an additional turn down service in the evenings.

The hotel looked nice but the inside room was out dated. The staffs wasn’t smiling, making us feel like we’re not welcomed there. We stayed there two nights and three days and the staffs were not customer service oriented.
Our experience at this hotel was truly wonderful. From the moment we were welcomed by the staff as the door was opened for us, we were treated with the utmost respect. Having traveled extensively around the world, we have never encountered such meticulous attention to detail. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the chef, who crafted exquisite dishes and personally came to our table to ensure that everything met our expectations. Overall the staff went above and beyond anything that we could have reasonably expected. I only wish there were hotels like this everywhere we went in Vietnam.
Beautiful hotel in a great location- not far from important sites. Great staff who were very attentive and helpful, as well as friendly. The breakfast was fantastic- a variety of dishes available, so my vegetarian companion could also eat.

A great hotel in a good location
Over all this resort has set the bar extremely high. It’s absolutely beautiful. The staff are all super nice. Breakfast buffet was a solid 8/10 wish I could get my own coffee and had a few more options. My only gripe about this place is the bed was made out of stone. My back was killing me after a long day of exploring I want a soft bed that swallows me up. This bed I jumped on it and nearly sent my spine flying. Outside of that it’s an amazing resort.
Beautiful and luxurious hotel in a peaceful setting, slightly outside the downtown area but still walkable to everything. Room was comfortable. Pool area was immaculate and not crowded. We paid a small upcharge for breakfast (about $9 USD per person), for possibly the most opulent breakfast buffet I have ever seen. This is a great choice if you want a more luxe experience as opposed to a less touristy one.
Best massage of my life, great location, friendly prompt service, buffet breaky was on another level! Decadent interior and lovely outdoor areas. Highly recommend, not far from ancient temple.

A lovely hotel, clean, well-maintained, nice breakfast. A little outside of town but only US$2 to get to centre. Royal Palace & Citadel walkable (20mins) or US$ 1-2 in taxi.
