Ao Nang Colors Hotel - Aonang Beach

I think for the price of this particular hotel it is a Top option for any type of traveller. I am a lone traveler from England on my first Ever visit to Asia and at the moment I’ve been to Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau and then Aonang🙏
I cannot say anything but Wonderful things about this Continent so far and I plan to return.
Sorry to have diverted a bit from talking about the hotel ( Colors) in Aonang but I just wanted to say how Friendly Everyone I’ve spoken to or had dealings with are So Happy Welcoming and nothing is to much trouble!
The staff as a team at Colors Aonang are Just Amazingly friendly and I feel actually Truly care about their guests,I find there is Nothing false about Anyome who works here. They are so helpful and I have to give a Special mention to Fern one of the receptionists, she I feel is the leader of a Wonderful group of people and she is a True Guiding light and shows Everything that makes this hotel standout for me . It has a swimming pool that’s kept very well, a pool table and Wonderful Restaurant, its vicinity is Fantastic Alf in easy reach of the Night Market and many bars and Restaurants!

Air conditioning could be better but nice stay overall

The infinity pool was relaxing but it was the staff that made our stay so wonderful. They gave great recommendations for local things to do and were always there to help provide things such as umbrellas when raining and towels for the beach. I would definitely stay here again!

Great hotel, easy walk to the beach and main street (3mins). Excellent pool

Very, very run down hotel which has not been refurbished in decades. Reception area and corridors and extremely worn down, not to mention the breakfast area. Breakfast as such is very poor by Thailand standards, a couple of cold cooked dishes and eggs available to order however only plain omelette. The rooms are also very dated, bedsheets and towels are stained and filthy. The only upside of this hotel is friendly staff and a great Italian restaurant on the ground floor

Liked are four days hear nice little pool on the roof with a great view plus a 2 mins walk to one of the main strip and beach ideal for solo travellers and couples/teenagers good breakfast and helpful staff.....HAPPY DAYS !!!

Boendet är verkligen inte värt sina fyra stjärnor, det borde vara 2 stjärnor enligt hotels.com:s rating. Slitet, slitna textilier, mycket bullrigt (av och trafik), dålig bemanning. Frukosten mycket enkel. Rimligt rent men inget byte av lakan på sex dagar. Poolen mysig men även där slitet och illa underhållet. Tror det har varit ett fint hotell, men inga investeringar har gjorts på mycket länge. Känns som om man bara vill kröna ut höga priser under högsäsong och struntar i kritiken. Ingen kunskap om de utflykter man förmedlar. Rekommenderas inte, åtminstone inte för det pris vi betalade nu under jullovet.

The attendants Boa and Fun and the entire staff were super friendly and hospitable. They hold a smile and greet you everytime you walk by the lobby. The rooms are great for a decent price, the building is not modern but I loved the way it resembled the old Italian/Spanish architecture. The experience was amazing since everything was around 5 mins walk. 7 eleven, Ko dam restaurant next door is a must for great thai food.

Nice property just off the main strip of shops, bars, restaurants and beach. Quiet place to stay. Italian restaurant downstairs, tours booking desk down in reception, has decent pool aswel. Would stay there again.

Great location to everything - beach, shops, dining, tours/excursions, etc. The room was a comfortable size with the amenities we needed. The pool on the second floor was unique as it overlooked the street below and a small area of a bay across the street. The staff were very accommodating and responsive. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return there again.

The staff were very friendly and the Italian restaurant downstairs was very good.

The breakfast could be better and some more loungers around the 3rd floor pool would be better as well. Not a huge fan of the brown color pool tile, can make the water look unclean even if it is.

We really enjoyed the convenient location close to many restaurants. The staff was very helpful, friendly, kind and attentive to our needs. We enjoyed renting scooters from the property. We also really enjoyed our tour to Hong Island and renting a kayak to see the beautiful view at Railay beach along with the lagoon. It was fun! Merci.
