Location was good
Cons:

The drain in the shower cubicle was blocked. Lot of hair got struck and no body cleaned it for ages. The water was over flowing in to the room. I had to clean it which was awful.

Everything is fine
Location by the beach is lovely

Cons:

The cafe had very basic buffet for dinner for RM55. I took a look n would not want to try...so I ordered Fish n chips and my friends ordered the signature friend rice with satay. And another separate satay order. My fish was oily and The satay was dry. The fried rice was fine .

For a Mercure Hotel surely you can try harder with the restaurant .

I had a really pleasant stay at Mercure Beach Resort! The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good with quite a nice variety of choices.

A big thank you to the team for the complimentary birthday cake! 🎂❤️ I honestly didn’t expect much from a complimentary cake, but this one was really delicious, definitely not your usual “just okay” hotel cake. 😂 It was such a sweet gesture and made my birthday stay even more special.

But what impressed me the most was definitely the service from the reception and housekeeping team. I accidentally left my gold ring in Room 503 after checking out. Thank God it was still there! I went back to the reception and they immediately contacted housekeeping, and thankfully, my ring was safely returned to me. I really, really appreciate their honesty and helpfulness. Thank you so much for taking care of my belongings. ❤️

Overall, the service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside during my stay was that the lobby was quite crowded because there was a wedding and a conference happening on the same date, so I couldn’t really get the full relaxing holiday vibe. 🥹

Other than that, I genuinely enjoyed my stay here. Thank you, Mercure Beach Resort, for making my birthday stay a memorable one.

As I’m already looking forward to coming back, I was wondering if you could kindly offer any special rate or returning guest discount for my next stay. I would really appreciate it! 😊

Had a great stay at Mercure Penang! The staff were friendly and helpful, and the security guard was really helpful with parking whenever we came in or went out. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The view was beautiful — we could see the beach right from our room. Housekeeping was also great and quick to respond to our requests. Check-in and check-out were fast, and no deposit was required. Overall, a really pleasant stay. Highly recommended and definitely will come back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
