Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Brownfield by IHG

The room was nice. The pillows were not good. We found a bug on the bathroom floor. The water pressure was very low. The front desk worker was very nice and professional.

Would use again

Sad to say there was a dead roach. I got a room for 4 people and they only had towels for 2 people.

Friendly staff and easy check in.

What I didn’t like is the small entry door in the front of this hotel was not working. The keycard to the door would not work. This was the same issue as last year. I complained to the staff again just as I did last year.

Small town so there nothing to do! We were there for a wedding!

One of the best Holiday Inn stays! Staff was very friendly and informative with an excellent restaurant recommendation. Breakfast was hot, fresh and great selection. Will stay here again.

Easy check in and getting settled into the room

Check-in was quick and easy. Room was cooled down and very comfortable coming in from the hot summer heat. The bed was comfy. Had a little trouble with tv remote, but got through it ok. The breakfast was about normal for this type of operation.

I thought the website said dog friendly. They said they do not.

He's an emotional support dog. We had a vest that supports that but my husband was very turned off and didn't want to bother

I think it could have been handled with a lot more sensitivity.

First room smelled like smoke stated it was non smoking. The ac had brown nasty stuff on top and on the window seal. The bed closet to the window has the same brown stuff on the comforter. The room had baby hand prints everywhere. Black stuff on the bed. I ordered my room on the app which was supposed to be king when i got there and to my room it was 2 queen bed. I tolded the lady and she stated they didnt have any more king beds so thats what i got 2 queens. I ended up being moved to a different room and that one as well had its issues. Pillow had stains on it. Hair all over the restroom floor. Housekeeping didnt clean right there was a sock under the ac and a capri sun left under there too. Black stuff on the bedding as well. Worst stay ever. Breakfast was good and very clean in earing area.

Otherwise great stay

Everything was great with the exception of the alarm clock. I reset it twice before going to bed. The clock said it was 7am, so I got up and starting to get dressed when my husband told me it was only 5:30am. The other thing that I was bothered by was the top sheet. It was really rough. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. The shower was amazing.

Would have been cool if the hot tub was working and they allowed pets so that the ppl with ESA needs would be ok, but aside from that it was good.

New and clean!

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Check in was a breeze, and the new updates look really nice. Our beds were very comfy. We can always rely on this hotel anytime we visit the area!

Clean

I usually stay in this chain, expecting the same quality across the board. Unfortunately I booked a room above average priced, probably because it is the only hotel (not motel) in this small town. The bed was comfortable, that’s why they get 2 stars. They don’t get more because the toilet was grimy. I asked for a new room only to find the same grimness in the second room plus some flecks of gray matter on top of the covers. The sad part is the staff did not care, they said it was the last room, and no one was around to clean it. After pressing she gave me cleaning supplies, however this is old grime. In the morning at check out they claimed no manager was on duty.
