Breakfast was sufficient and the location was perfect.
We did not dislike anything about this SPARK except with all the construction in the area the parking was very limited
Staff was friendly, I felt it was easy to get into with service/check in wise! Beds were comfortable and it smelt clean when I got in the room! It was quiet on my floor which is always a plus! I enjoyed the visit for what it was worth! :)
The breakfast and coffee wasn't made my first morning there for whatever reason, but Sunday's service for breakfast and coffee was amazing and be beneficial for me! I feel like they should have small coffee pots in rooms like other places do, especially if downstairs isnt up and going yet! Construction is all around and road gets blocked off and had to take alot of detours but isn't anything against hotel but location for that matter wasn't the best but for things around I think it was pretty good!
The property was a great location traveling with an SUV packed w/ musical equipment. We played the Ballroom at Westin. Spark was close and not in downtown San Antonio. Lot's of road construction made using GPS a must at night. We checked in heading to the gig, so we got room keys just after midnight. Smooth transaction and we couldn't hear the overnight construction in our room. Hotel is quite and the road crew was an added bonus for security. It's not the hotels fault for the detours. Staff was informative over the phone the day before. Great beds and super clean, so we were well rested for our trip back to Dallas. Don't stay downtown, it looks a little shady in some parts.
Our refrigerator was noisy and the legs were wobbly. Fenil said, they'd get it fixed. Room 206 I did want a hot breakfast, but great coffee, muffins and fresh fruit did the trick until we got to Hillsboro.
Proximity to where I needed to go
Construction on I35. Horrible.
The beds were comfortable and the customer service was great
No ice bucket in the room. Terrible bed. Old lumpy pillows.
Nice staff, clean property
All the construction but that’s not really the hotel’s fault. The highway it’s on is under MAJOR renovations though.
Need more selection
State construction in front of hotel
The locate was kind of duck off but the property was nice and clean. The lady at the desk was very friendly.
I wish there had been freshly cooked breakfast like pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs, grits, etc.
The hotel has basic amenities and that was just fine. Everything was good but the staff lacked some follow-through. The manager did print some documents for me - so that was greatly appreciated.
When I got to my room and unpacked, I settled in to watch some TV. I discovered that the TV didn't work at all. The phone didn't work either so I had to get dressed and go downstairs. They moved me to another room but I had to repack all of my stuff, which is definitely an inconvenience after traveling all day.
The new room - which I discovered the next day - did not have any shampoo, so I had to wash my hair with body soap. I reported it about 9:00 a.m. that morning, and when I returned to the hotel in the evening, there still was no shampoo. So I had to call again. This time the manager came to my room to change them out.
Also, a light was out over the bed and I reported that too but it didn't get fixed. The little things matter!
Clean
Bath tube no curtain. HDMI socket not accessible. Breakfast is too simple. Outside is boring.
Spacious, comfortable room for the price you pay.
