Wonderful hotel with outstanding service
Pros:

We loved this hotel within walking distance from the lovely central shopping street. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was excellent.

Attentiveness of the staff. There was this gentlemen who fetch us to the ski station, waited for us for a while and later return to brought us back to the hotel. The complimentary snacks and drinks were also well appreciated.

Cons:

Quality of the coffee during breakfast could have been better for me personally and the value of the breakfast could have been better.

Luxory hotel with excellent service
Pros:

We stayed one night at the Curio Collection by Hilton in Karuizawa and were very impressed. The building looks simple from the outside, but inside it is modern, elegant, and very comfortable. Service was excellent from the moment we arrived. At check-in we asked where we might buy a reading glasses replacement, and the staff immediately offered us one from their own supply as a loan, which was extremely helpful. Our luggage was brought directly to the room, and the entire check-in was smooth and friendly.

The room was spacious and well designed, with a comfortable seating area, a large bathroom, and an espresso machine. The minibar was stocked with drinks, including beer, free of charge, and the fridge contained a few small, thoughtfully prepared snacks. The hotel offers breakfast, dinner, a gym, and a private bath area, though we did not use any of these facilities.

The location is very convenient. The hotel provides a shuttle to Karuizawa Station, which is about a 15 minute walk away. A large shopping mall is located near the station, and the older shopping street with cafés and small stores is just around the corner from the hotel. Overall, the hotel offers high comfort, excellent service, and a very pleasant atmosphere.
