If you are arriving from another city by Shinkansen, the hotel’s location is excellent. Since it is right next to the station, transportation to the city center is also very convenient. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Three of us stayed very comfortably.
Shin Station is a destination in itself, with places to visit, shop, and eat. In that sense, even though we were a little outside the city center, the lively atmosphere there was very nice. In addition, direct access to the airport from the station is also very easy.
Since you are not right in the city center, you do need to travel each time. However, I should still say that the transportation network is very convenient.

We chose this hotel for its proximity to Shin-Osaka station, and stayed in it twice during a 10-day trip to Japan. It had the dependability and reliability of other Courtyard Marriotts in terms of facilities, comfort, and ease of checking in and out. Although we used this as a "transit point": during a vacation, it would also work well for business travelers.
We checked out the hotel menu but thought it was overpriced relative to other restaurants nearby.

An excellent option if you’re planning to use Osaka as a base for day trips around Japan. Having the hotel right next to the train station is incredibly convenient and makes getting around so much easier. The rooms are also very spacious, specially compared to Japan hotel standards.
They charge a lot of money for overnight luggage storage, it should be an included service considering the room rates.

We chose this hotel because we wanted easy access to Shin-Osaka station--and this hotel is literally a few steps away. The room was comfortable and had the amenities one would expect from a Courtyard Marriott. We were able to leave our luggage for a few hours after checking out and before our train left so we could explore.

The room was excellent and very comfortable.
The only thing I could think of that would make it a little better is adding a wall-mounted make-up mirror in the bathroom.
Great location right next to the station, staff were amazing and we definitely will be coming back.
