Decent property, value for money, can improve the staff
Pros:

It is a heritage property and has some good touches like the chandelier made of old bills. Breakfast was excellent.

Cons:

The reception staff is not very efficient, except for Lavami. The location is pretty cut off from everywhere. The linen is quite old and overused. Facilities are basic and the property is very small.

It was pleasant stay at Casino Hotel with great breakfast
Pros:

It was very neat and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food is also really good there with lot of different cuisine options.

Nice heritage property
Pros:

The in-room service crew and housekeeping crew were very courteous. The room and the property in general carry the heritage vibes. The tulsi soap was really a super star. loved the smell, I mean the whole room smelt so wonderful :)

Cons:

Would have appreciated pair of complementary slippers as the floor gets too cold and moist. Wanted to be at the pool bar but it was closed.

Absolutely a worthy stay!
Pros:

Beautiful, clean property, courteous staff, good value for money. The buffet breakfast was nice. My experience was near perfect!

Cons:

The property is remotely located with no access to restaurants immediately around. The in-house restaurant did not provide an à la carte menu option for lunch, which was slightly inconvenient.

The staff were excellent. Very helpful, full of smiles, very courteous, smartly dressed and ready to help. Food was very tasteful and nice quantity. The housekeeping staff worked extremely hard yo perfection 👌 The door staff when you enter the hotel and front desk staff were very kind, pleasant and welcoming. All together a great experience. Thank you. I hope they all get better paid for everything they do. Salaries are extremely low which us such a shame when the owners are making hundreds of thousands of rupees daily.

Cons:

What was disappointing was the roads to the hotel, they were littered with garbage. While I was staying there the Minister of Travel and Tourism arrived but he too was not interested in Kerala except for how many tourist were arriving ftom abroad. When is the infrastructure or cleanliness of the city going to be improved. The roads were littered with left over building material, no payments to walk on for pedestrians and little with filthy garbage. The tourist spots all smelled because the drains were blocked and road with dirty garbage. None of this is noticed by the minister or the owners of the hotels. All they were concerned was how many tourist were coming. They should also stop paying staff so badly, its almost slave labour. Rs 2000 for a trainee for a month, that is peanuts. Even a monkey won't swing for that. Shameful.
