Looking for accommodation in the area yesterday. Looked at rates and availability then phoned the hotel directly as I always do. …….
So far so good!
When I requested best rate I was told the hotel is closed!!!!!
Why on earth does a hotel close but also offer rates etc on the internet.
Would you please stop wasting my time and money. Remove your internet presence and tell the truth.
Disgusting
Have you informed Tourism Ireland?
Or do you even care?
This was a beautiful hotel and the scenery was perfect Our rooms were very comfortable and clean. Towels and sheets cleaned every alternate day. Nice big rooms and nice to have a kettle with come teabags. Can't leave home without the tea. Food was lovely here and I would highly recommend it. Nice for great photography shots. Again we stayed there in Jan of 2019 but I can't get back that far. But on having other friends stay there it appears to be the same in the hotel and with the friendly staff.
Didn’t love the food at the restaurant- had the special - way overcooked pork and undercooked veg
Love this place. Recommend fully with no complaints. Charming, clean, welcoming home-like atmosphere. Great stay.
I booked my room with a hotel view and instead I got a view of tall uncut grass over looking a storage shed for toilets. Really??
Very comfy, very clean room. Noisy residents in the next room, but that is not the hotel's fault. All worth when you wake up and see the sea in the morning. Was able to work from here too, the wifi is good. Its a little out of Sligo town, but there is a bus, and the location really lovely. I would recommend
Bedroom spacious and clean as was the bathroom.View from the bedroom was spectacular to say the least.Staff were very friendly and very professional.Would recommend this hotel to everybody as it is very reasonably priced for the service provided.
I was very disappointed with my stay. I informed the hotel when booking that I was a Coeliac and would like Gluten Free Food. When we checked in I told them again. When we went to dinner on the 1st night it took about 20 minutes before they finally were able to tell me they could poach fish for me and veg which when it arrived was cold. On the 2nd night it took the waitress about 4 trips to the kitchen t come back and tell me I could have beef or turkey & ham I ordered the turkey & ham. When it arrived it had stuffing in the middle so when I asked was it Gluten Free they again had to go to the kitchen to be told oh no its not. I then complained that its not good enough that I be treated like this as this was the 4th time I had asked for Gluten Free but yet they had not met my expectations. I could not believe in this day and age that I could as a Coeliac be treated in such a way. When I asked to speak with the Manager we were told there was no manager on duty either Friday or Saturday night??? Is this the way to run a business in such times. We try and support local but this is the thanks we get. The hotel even though its old is in quite good condition and the staff that were on duty except for the male supervisor on both evenings were all very nice.
I then had to travel into Sligo to get a fab Gluten Free Pizza at Bistro Bianconi which I would highly recommend!
The room was clean, food in restaurant very average. We founded hard to sleep for the noise, but that’s more about lack of manners and not the hotel’s fault
We had an absolutely fantastic time at the Yeats Hotel. Set in beautiful surroundings with lots to do in the area. The customer service could not have been better! Will definitely be back.
The hotel staff were very helpful and it was very clear that the safety of guests was priority. However a few tables outside or a coffee dock would have enabled people to sit in small family groups for short periods to relax. There was no facility to get a soft drink or a coffee outside of having a meal.
Very dated hotel. Nice location but the pictures look nothing like the place itself. The room and bathroom were very old fashioned and clearly not updated in at least 20 years. Wouldn’t be rushing back at all.
Hotel well maintained and very clean. The staff were plesant and helpful. It would have been nice to have had the option to.get a cup.of tea or soft drink during the day without having to buy a meal..
Receptionist were too slow, 2 behind the counter but yet only checked in 1 guest at a time , only breakfast time available was 8am, no information about local activities , no hotel book in room , accommodation was very basic , no kettle in room , no iron
Great hotel with great service, stayed on a midweek business trip and will stay again, 10 minute drive from Sligo town.
Our second time to stay in this ideal hotel. The staff are absolutely lovely and so accommodating. The room was massive and had two double beds, so we had one each lol, seriously comfy bed.
Superb value and ideal location, we will be back very soon
Fantastic Family spa break Band on every night spa deals double seaweed bath €45 great Family sized room easy walking distance to everywhere I love it can’t wait to go back & Martina on front desk
Good hotel, nice breakfast
Close to golf course
Good food
Beautiful location, stunning scenery - comfortable room BUT one of the worst breakfast ever encountered in an Irish hotel. Have to wonder do the management care at all about the quality of the food they dish out in the morning - I would be embarrassed.
The room smelt.
The bath shower was grime.
The taps in bathroom were grumpy and bad limescale on. It takes five second to clean them with a cloth.
Check in was not pleasant.
The location was nice.
The foreign man on the evening shift was great.
The bar was good.
The lattes were nice.
