Pros:

Place under construction which we knew about. Jumped in shower and there was no hot water at all. Never had hot water for our entire stay. Front desk did call and gave us a 30% discount. Needs more choices for breakfast. We chose to go out to eat. Bed was comfy but not getting a shower was very unpleasant .

All in all we would stay there again
Pros:

Location - great coffee machine in the lobby - wonderful bed and pillows - the toiletries were excellent

Hotel being remodeled. Very messy and smelly. My room had a toilet that ran toilet all night keeping me awake. I left the hotel after staying only 1 night. The hotel was willing to Adjust my payments but booking would not work with me. I will never use booking again.

Nice Inn but not what we hoped for
Pros:

The Inn looks nice from the outside and is in a great location near shops and restaurants. The receptionist at the front desk was friendly, efficient and courteous. However, I was not aware that the Inn was under construction when I made the reservation; the website did not mention that to my knowledge. It was messy inside due to renovation. The room we were assigned looked directly onto a garbage dumpster and a trashy area in the back - we returned to the front desk and paid up to get a much better suite (which had a lovely view, was clean and spacious). The website said the Inn offered a "delightful breakfast with waffles, fresh fruit and muffins"; however, the only fruit were apples, there were three small muffins out, and you had to make the 'fresh waffles' yourself with a waffle maker. I would not stay here again when my wife and I return to St. Simons Island.

booking.com said there was a room available at the location and I booked and paid as well as got confirmation for booking and we show up after a long long day and drive to get some sleep on valentines day. Get to counter and he tells us he has NO ROOMS for us and we can not stay at all, and he will send cancellation confirmation to booking as well as my email address to show confirmation as well. It is 2 days shy of being a month later and I still have yet to see that money for the reservation that was worthless in my account.

Loved the location and the staff, but the reno was too much.
Pros:

The location was fantastic.

Cons:

They are going through extensive renovations. Everything is very dusty. You have to walk through the renovation to get to your room. Moldy sink.

Cons:

The fact that my truck was broken into and the cameras weren't working. I was parked in their parking lot with cameras on it. Also this place is a construction zone. They should not be open. The room was nasty. There were dirty rags behind the nightstand when we got there. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
