Breakfast is very good. Lady at the reception is very helpful
I suggest hotels must state a walk in shower/shower in the bath. The traveller need to have the choice. Showers in the bath is risky for older travellers, espesially to climb into the bath and when one slips and fall, the injury can ruin the holiday

Location is great.
Sehr schönes Hotel und super Lage. Man kann sehr viel fußläufig erreichen. Das Bett war schön groß und bequem.
Wir hatten eine Suite und leider war die Minibar nicht befüllt, ansonsten kann man nichts bemängeln.

Frühstücksraum ist fensterlos im Keller und Terasse am Dach war gesperrt, die eigentlich ein Grund war, warum ich das gebucht hab.
Tras un pequeño malentendido la dirección del Hotel President Budapest demostró una gestión de atención al cliente impecable compensando de manera generosa. La ubicación en pleno centro es inmejorable, muy contentos con la empatía de la gerente khatarina. Volveremos sin duda.

La resección fue horrible, ni una buena bienvenida, si explicación ninguna de la estancia, ni de la ciudad, tampoco ninguna gratitud a la hora de explicar el buffet de desayuno que lo teníamos contratado, nada amable en ningún momento ni si quiera un Buenos días y precio muy alto para un sitio que no te prestá atención ninguna ni información de nada

Location
When we arrived they gave us a room small, old, dirty with broken wardrobe, stained wall-to-wall carpets.
When we asked for another room they said we had to pay 30€ more per night.
We heard other guest with similar complaints.
The hotel has two parts one old with views of the street, another newer with no view at all, just an interior courtyard. The staff is not helpful and not engaged, they are working in their own clothes and give a bored impression.

Teniamos media pension y la comida era escasa.. y tenian el restaurante-bar de la azotea cerrado y se cenaba en el bar del hotel con poca variedad.. la comida bien , un 8
Excellent breakfast, modern hotel perfect located close to Metro trains and other attractions
I had to use my laptop at times and there were only a very small coffee table to use. So I had to place things on the bed to make room for the laptop and sit on the bed to work on my laptop. The coffee machine coffee pods ( nespresso) and only 2 were place originally. On the second nigh when I called reception from my room for a refill I was told to obtain refills myself .
On a very busy weekend in Budapest, I was lucky to get a room in this hotel as a last-minute cancellation. Everywhere was completely full, even hostels. The room is decent. I cannot say it was worth anything close to £160, but given the lack of other hotel availability, I jumped on it when I found it. Breakfast was decent. It was quite central. Staff were friendly.
A pet peeve of cleaners knocking on a door that has a DO NOT DISTURB sign before your arranged check-out time. Just have some patience and wait 15 minutes, then knock when the person is actually late leaving.
The location is excellent, right in the hearth of the city centre, close to the airport express bus as well. The size of the the room (we booked deluxe double).
The hotel had excellent quality and service years ago, but seems to be outdated today. I hope it will be improve due to the recent affiliation to Melia Group. For this price you could expect a better quality.
The carpet was dirty, and the bathroom (which was very small for a 4 star hotel) could be also be cleaner as well. The towels are really worn, and you can´t close the door of the bathroom unless you lock it. The breakfast is rich, but the quality could be better.
