Fantastic hotel with great rooftop restaurant
Pros:

The rooms were spacious, the swimming pool and spa were wonderful. The staff were gracious and welcoming. The rooftop restaurant and bar was amazing with great views. Overall, a fantastic experience!

unpleasent experience
Pros:

Breakfast was good. Early check-in was given to me within an hour of waiting. The gym was very good, and the gym trainer was amazing—very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

I had planned to leave one small bag at the hotel so that I could collect it when I return in about a week. When I checked in, the staff confirmed that it would be possible to leave a bag and collect it later. The receptionist, Ravi, was very helpful at that time.
However, things changed after I checked out. When I requested the staff to keep one small bag so that I could collect it later, I was told that this was not possible and that I would need to collect it within two days. I was willing to agree to that condition.
Unfortunately, the floor manager (who was seated next to the reception desk) argued with me and said they were not responsible for keeping bags after check-out — not even for one day. His tone and body language changed, which was quite disappointing. I did not expect such behavior from a five-star hotel.
I frequently visit Chennai and have stayed at The Leela Palace and Park Hyatt in the past, where the service has always been excellent. I only chose this hotel because it is close to my clients.
As I was in a rush, I ended up leaving the hotel without leaving my bag. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience and not the level of service I expected.
