Pros:

Location is close to everything. Unfortunately housekeeping is poor. We stayed 5 days and had to call twice for toilet paper and coffee pods and get our room cleaned up. Breakfast mediocre, scrambled eggs are eggs substitute and taste terrible. No option of ordering a movie

Stairwells smelled , fit and finish in the bathroom was sub par, goobery caulking around fixtures and tub from original installation

We were very satisfied!
Pros:

The mattresses were very comfortable and the towels were very nice. So many extras - microwave, coffeemaker, refrigerator, ironing board and iron, choice of soft or firm pillow. Also a laundry room. This is a place you could spend more than a couple of nights. GREAT!

Pros:

Actually it was great they didn't throw a fit when I brought in huge bundles of balloons and they didn't complain when I brought seven kids downstairs to swim in the pool for an hour and 30 minutes it was noisy and chaotic and they were so kind about it and it was literally the best experience I've already booked my next visit there

Back again for the nth time!
Pros:

Lodging here on Jan. 1 and Jan. 6 were two completely different experiences. On Jan 1, the reception was cheerful and smiling, and the same person the following morning was very cheerful when I left. This is an old and tired HI Express with a very slow lift, and otherwise typical HI Express services, some of which do not happen at this property: the warm cookies each evening, real soap, add-ins for the oatmeal, etc. These must be money saving moves for the hotel.
The January 6 welcome was brusk, unfriendly, and the following morning a smiling person was at the desk. There was no shower mat. As usual in moderately priced lodging the States, no hand-held shower tool, but enough provisions to have a decent stay.
This property shares its location with a major restaurant, and is one pleasant block from a Barnes & Noble bookstore and a Whole Foods Market. Once you settle in, there is no reason to take the car off the lot if you are able to walk to the stores and restaurant. The hotel atmosphere isn't great, but it feels safe and comfortable enough.
